PlayStation VR Price, Release Window Announced
At a media event during the Game Developers Conference today, Sony confirmed that PlayStation VR will cost $399 / €399 /£349 / AUD$549 and be available this October.
Inside the box, PS VR will include the headset itself, a processor unit, a VR headset connection cable, HDMI and USB cables, headphones, and a power supply. Everyone who purchases PlayStation VR will also be able to download The Playroom in VR for free, which includes six family-friendly mini-games.
UPDATE: Sony UK confirmed on Twitter that PlayStation VR requires the PlayStation Camera to use, which is not included in the box and is available separately for an MSRP of $59.99. PlayStation Move controllers will also need to be purchased separately.

Aunt May Slams Amazing Spider-Man Movies
Sally Field, who played Aunt May in both The Amazing Spider-Man and The Amazing Spider-Man 2, isn't exactly content with the two films she starred in.
Speaking on The Howard Stern Show, Field didn't hold back when Stern asked if she liked the latest Spidey films.
"Not especially," Field said. "It's not my kind of movie. But my friend Laura Ziskin was the producer, and we knew it would be her last film, and she was my first producing partner, and she was a spectacular human."
Field added that she didn't put "a great deal" of effort into her portrayal of Aunt May.
"It's really hard to find a three-dimensional character in it, and you work it as much as you can, but you can't put ten pounds of s#!t in a five-pound bag," she said.
Young Han Solo Finalists Include Kingsman, Transformers Stars
Disney and Lucasfilm have reportedly pared down their young Han Solo shortlist to a handful of actors, including Kingsman and Transformers 4 stars Taron Egerton and Jack Reynor.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Egerton (Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle), Reynor (Transformers: Age of Extinction) and Alden Ehrenreich (Hail, Caeser!) are among the finalists for the Star Wars role. They all apparently were involved in testing last weekend in London.
Now there might be a few other names on the young Han Solo shortlist, but it's still been trimmed down from last month. Previously, Miles Teller, Ansel Elgort and Dave Franco were said to be up for the role in the Star Wars film.
Free to Play ARK: Survival Evolved Spin-Off Announced
Studio Wildcard revealed its new game, ARK: Survival of the Fittest.
A spin-off of its ARK: Survival Evolved game, SotF is what Studio Wildcard calls a "Multiplayer Online Survival Arena" game, saying the game is built "for the burgeoning wild west of eSports."
"Each month the Top-10 ranked players of ARK: Survival of the Fittest will be automatically determined" within one of the game's four modes, and from those rankings players will be awarded "cash prize winnings from Studio Wildcard."
The payouts are "more than $50,000 in monthly cash prizes."
Originally a "total conversion mod" within ARK: Survival Evolved, the stand-alone game "brings all the features of the mod," as well as upgrades like "dedicated eSports ranking, matchmaking, reward, and tournament features."

Watch 20 Minutes of Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan Gameplay
IGN played the opening of Platinum Games' Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, including the first boss fight against Bebop. It's much more open-ended than we expected, with excellent navigation reminiscent of Sunset Overdrive in what may be the most open world the studio's ever made.
Take a look at 20+ minutes of gameplay below, including a walkthrough of the basics, what Mutants in Manhattan is like if you're playing alone, and the full-blown madness of four-player co-op, plus the Bebop boss battle on its own if you want to analyze Platinum's latest big-bad design.

Final Daredevil: Season 2 Trailer Revealed
Ahead of Daredevil's return to Netflix this coming Friday, the streaming provider has released the final trailer for Season 2.
In addition to Jon Bernthal's Frank Castle (aka The Punisher) and Elodie Yung's Elektra, it looks like Charlie Cox's Matt Murdock has a few more foes to contend with in the show's second season.

Game of Thrones: What Meeting Sam Tarly’s Family Means for Season 6
Samwell Tarly has changed a lot since the early days of Game of Thrones, and according to actor John Bradley, there's only one thing that could cause him to backslide again: the loss of his best friend and Lord Commander, Jon Snow (Kit Harington).
On the eve of the release of Game of Thrones: Season 5's Blu-ray and with the premiere of Season 6 on the horizon, Bradley got on the phone to reflect on Sam's growth over the past year -- especially considering he's one of the few characters to which good things has happened. He opened up about whether these positive changes are permanent for the former craven, and teased what meeting Sam's father Randyll (James Faulkner), mother Melessa (Samantha Spiro), brother Dickon (Freddie Stroma) and sister Talla (Rebecca Benson) means for his character in Season 6.

Also, Furious 7 is $10 right now, so if you're just missing that one, it's a good time to add it your collection. Now you can actually save a few bucks by buying the six movie collection and Furious 7 separately (it comes out to $55), but it might be worth the extra $5 for that tire case.
