By writer Max Landis & artist Jonathan Case | DC Comics

Make room on your shelf of Superman classics because Max Landis’ American Alien is the best take on the character’s mythos since Grant Morrison and Frank Quitely’s All-Star Superman. That’s saying a lot, seeing how this is only the penultimate issue, but I’ve already read it and can say it’s another smart, introspective, funny, and heart-warming chapter in this seven part miniseries that follows Clark Kent on his journey from farm boy to Man of Steel.

Game of Thrones: What Jaqen H’ghar has in Store for Arya Stark

Game of Thrones spoilers through the end of Season 5 continue below.

Game of Thrones didn’t leave Arya Stark in a great place at the end of Season 5. After going rogue and killing Meryn Trant to take a name off her list, she was punished by her House of Black and White mentor, Jaqen H’ghar, by having her eyesight taken from her.

Blindness might seem like the worst curse for a fighter like Arya, but Tom Wlaschiha promises that his character is only out to help the young Stark. “I think Jaqen really likes Arya,” Wlaschiha told me during a recent interview, “otherwise he wouldn’t have taken her on as an apprentice, and he sees something with her.

“He sees a lot of potential in her, but he wants her to learn and to be the best woman she can be. If she had gone off a couple of seasons ago and started killing off her list of victims, probably she wouldn’t have succeeded. He wants her to be somewhere up there.”

Justice League: J.K. Simmons on Commissioner Gordon

Actor J.K. Simmons won't be revisiting previous iterations of Commissioner Gordon when he takes on the role in Warner Bros.' upcoming Justice League film.

"I'm sure there will be differences and similarities with what Gary Oldman or Pat Hingle have done before," Simmons told Collider. "But I'm just going to try to do my take on it and be as informed as I can about the rich history of the Batman universe."

The actor—who played J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy—hasn't begun preparation for Gordon just yet, though he "absolutely" intends to read the comics.

Star Wars Fan Builds a Rebel Blaster Out of LEGO

Someone went and made a life-sized Rebel Alliance blaster out of LEGO.

A LEGO aficionado who goes by the name Nick Brick recreated the DH-17 blaster using the DICE developed shooter Star Wars Battlefront for reference. The Battlefield blasters were based on scans of props from the original Star Wars trilogy.

Despite being made from the stiff plastic pieces the model even has a working trigger. It's also just the latest concoction from Nick Brick, whose previous work includes the gun's Imperial counterpart: the E-11 Blaster Rifle.

Now You See Me 3 Is Happening

Now You See Me 3 is in the works, and Jon M. Chu is on board to direct again.

The first film was directed by Louis Leterrier (The Incredible Hulk), but Chu took over the role for the sequel, which is due for release on June 10. And according to Variety, Chu has now struck a deal with Lionsgate to take the helm of the third film in the series.

Now You See Me 3 has reportedly been in the works since May of 2015, Variety reports. However, this is the first time we've received any firm details.

Previously, Chu has worked on the likes of Step Up 2: The Streets, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never, and G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

My Hero Academia Episode 3: “Roaring Muscles” Review

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

Up until this point, My Hero Academia has kept me captivated by its unconventional take on the superhero formula. In its third episode "Roaring Muscles," however, Izuku's pursuit of becoming a hero takes an unexpected turn that undermines the idea that even those without incredible power can achieve great things.

At the start of the episode, Izuku's heroic idol All Might reveals the origins of his mysterious superhuman strength, which was passed on to him "like a sacred torch." All Might inherited the power to transfer power, an ability called "One For All," and in order for Izuku to receive it, he must train his body to become a physically-fit vessel that is capable of bearing this new Quirk.
