Infinity Ward Is Building the New Call of Duty Zombie Mode

During a livestream for the new Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Activision revealed Infinity Ward is doing the game's zombie mode, a first for the studio.

"We’re excited that we’re finally able to do our own take on zombies," Infinity Ward said during the stream. The mode is a "separate universe from Infinite Warfare" and the other zombie games.

The Flash: Cisco’s Powers Serve a ‘Fundamental Purpose’ in Finale

With only a few episodes left of The Flash: Season 2, Cisco Ramon is going to be a key figure in the fight to stop Zoom.

Carlos Valdes got on the phone to discuss what's ahead on The CW superhero series. He opened up about what Cisco's brother's return means in Tuesday's episode, "Rupture," plus teased how Vibe's abilities are integral to the Season 2 finale. Transformers Producer Rebooting Puppet Master

Transformers production company di Bonaventura Pictures is partnering with Caliber Media to reboot Puppet Master, the classic horror film franchise from Charles Band.

The plan is to produce "multiple storylines within this new universe" with the first installment, dubbed Puppet Master: The Littlest Reich, penned by S. Craig Zahler. The project has yet to find a director.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Campaign Details Revealed

During a livestream today, Activision detailed the setting and campaign of its upcoming Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

"The world is dependent on resources from outposts around the solar system," narrative director Taylor Kurosaki said during the stream. The game's antagonists, the Settlement Defense Force, are a "brutal, fascist group" whose aim is to take control of the solar system's resources.

The goal of the SDF is "to hold the countries of earth in a stranglehold."

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare's setting allows Infinity Ward to "take the player to places they've never been before" in the Call of Duty franchise. The space setting means dog fighting, zero-gravity fighting, as well as the "boots on the ground" combat the franchise is known for.

After a few teases and ahead of a promised live stream, today Activision revealed Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the next entry into the Call of Duty franchise.

The footage shows off plenty of explosions, space combat, two new characters, and contains a tease at the end for the much-rumored Call of Duty: Modern Warfare remaster.

Powers: Season 2 Poster Debut

The PlayStation Network original series Powers returns at the end of May and IGN has the exclusive debut of the Season 2 key art.

The second season will tackle a hugely notable storyline from the Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Avon Oeming comic on which the series is based: “Who Killed Retro Girl?” Along the way, we’ll meet some big new characters, including FBI Special Agent Lange (Tricia Helfer) and the past his prime superhero SuperShock (Michael Madsen).

Powers: Season 2 premieres May 31st on PlayStation Network with three new episodes on May 31st and then a new episode each Tuesday.

No Man’s Sky Creator on Meeting Elon Musk, Turning Down Kanye

Hello Games' ambitious space sim No Man's Sky has grabbed the attention of many high-profile figures, so many in fact that studio founder Sean Murray had to turn down an appointment with Kanye West.

On the latest episode of IGN Unfiltered, Murray recounted the crazy situation at E3 2015, during which he simply couldn't squeeze the hip-hop icon into is busy schedule, thanks to previously-scheduled meetings with Steven Spielberg and Elon Musk.

"Kanye was at E3 that year and we got a message that he wanted to see the game and we weren’t actually on the show floor at E3," he said. "So we were like, 'We’re not on the show floor and we’ve got Elon Musk to meet and Steven Spielberg so we can’t take that Kanye meeting,'" Murray added, laughing. "It was one of my favorite things. So yeah, that was a weird day... This game has put me in one weird situation after another."

Mighty No. 9 Release Date Confirmed

Mighty No. 9 will be released in North America and Asia on June 21, Mega Man creator Keiji Inafune announced today. The game will be available worldwide on June 24.

According to a post on the Mighty No. 9 website, Mighty No. 9 has gone gold, and is now in its "final stages." After facing multiple delays, the game's release date is "set in stone."

Justice League: Jeremy Irons Will Return as Alfred

Jeremy Irons will be reprising his role as Bruce Wayne's butler Alfred in Zack Snyder's Justice League movies.

Irons confirmed the news to Showbiz411. The actor first played Alfred in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
