Kevin Smith Says Directing The Flash Made Him a Better Filmmaker
This week's episode of The Flash, "The Runaway Dinosaur," not only ushers the show into its Season 2 endgame and Barry's final battle against Zoom, but it also comes with a notable guest director attached - super Flash fan Kevin Smith.
The Clerks/Dogma director has already received rave reviews from the cast for his efforts, along with executive producer Andrew Kreisberg who said, of Smith, "There was a reverence and an awe almost in how he approached everything." Smith has already agreed to return to direct an episode for Season 3.
Tom Cavanagh ("Harrison Wells") said that Smith was "incredible to work with" while Carlos Valdes ("Cisco") said that it was "one of the best experiences I've had on the show thus far." Agents of SHIELD Photo Preview: Expect Civil War Fallout
You can always expect Marvel's Agents of SHIELD to have a tie-in for big tentpole MCU movies, notably how Season 1's story was directly altered by the events of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and the disbanding of SHIELD itself. Then, Season 2 had our heroes locate Loki's scepter, providing the intel for Age of Ultron's big opening sequence - and also explained that helicarrier Nick Fury shows up in.
This year, it looks as if Coulson's team will feel the effects of the Sokovia Accords from Captain America: Civil War, which would call for them to register any enhanced individuals they have working for them. Which actually officially makes the Superhuman Registration Act a thing in the MCU (as Civil War didn't really get around to the topic).

We're going to go out on a limb and guess that there are a lot more Black Panther fans now than there were a few weeks ago before Captain America: Civil War hit theaters. Among that film's many other triumphs, it certainly did a great job of introducing moviegoers to the King of Wakanda. And the good news is that Marvel's new Black Panther comic is a perfect gateway for those who want to read more of T'Challa's comic book exploits.

League of Legends Teams Banned from Professional Competition
A scandal is happening in eSports today, as Riot Games, developer of League of Legends, announced that two professional League of Legends teams are banned from future Riot-sanctioned competitions. A third team appears to have been banned, as well, leaving players struggling to find a home and get their careers back on track.
The first two teams in question are Renegades and TDK. Riot alleged that Renegades players were improperly treated on the team.
What’s more, the owner of team Renegades, one of the most popular commentators in all of League of Legends, Christopher "MonteCristo" Mykles, was alleged to have improperly contracted a currently-suspended team owner, Chris Badawi, into an ownership agreement.

Yes, Wolverine 3 Will Be Rated R
Wolverine 3 has begun filming, producer Simon Kinberg has confirmed.
During a press event for X-Men: Apocalypse, Kinberg told Collider the film will be "a very radical, bold, different Wolverine than you've ever seen in any of the movies." Kinberg also confirmed previous rumors that Wolverine 3 will be rated R.
"It's violent, it's kind of like a western in its tone," the producer said. "It's just a very cool, different film." The film's R rating has been rumored for a while now, and it's been said 20th Century Fox was targeting the rating before Deadpool's success.
