Pokemon Sun & Moon Release Date, Box Art Revealed
UPDATE: A localised video has revealed that the game will release on November 18 in the US and November 23 in the UK.
Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon will release on November 18, 2016.
Also revealed in today’s video from The Pokemon Company were the two respective box arts, each of which gives us a look at two of Sun & Moon’s Legendary Pokemon.
The new gameplay trailer released today also confirmed the game's starter Pokemon and the new region, Alola the games will take place in.
Pokemon Sun and Moon: First Gameplay, New Starters, Region Revealed
A new video has revealed Pokemon Sun and Moon's three starter Pokemon, Rowlet, Litten and Popplio, as well as its new region, Alola.
Rowlet is a grass-and-flying type owl, Litten is a fire-type kitten (geddit?) and Popplio is a water-type that looks like a seal-clown hybrid.
Alola looks to be Pokemon's take on Hawaii, a far more tropical region than X and Y's Kalos.
The video also shows off a portion of the game's map, a new city area which takes up a camera position not unlike X and Y's Lumiose City) and a barechested man called Kukui who looks to be your new Professor Oak equivalent.
There are also brief shots of attacks from the game's two cover art legendaries, a lion and bat-like creatures respectively.
New Assassin’s Creed Movie Photos Emerge
Four more images have emerged of the Assassin's Creed movie, showing both its modern day and 15th Century Spanish settings.
Michael Fassbender plays hopefully-more-interesting-than-Desmond-Miles genetic time traveller, Callum Lynch, alongside his hopefully-as-interesting-as-Ezio-Auditore assassin ancestor, Aguilar.
Filming has already wrapped on the film, and Fassbender has cited The Matrix as a major influence.
It seems the film's financiers have a good feeling about the video game adaptation, given that it's already being considered for a sequel.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Coming to PC With Japanese Dialogue Option
Exactly a year after its PlayStation 4 release, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD is coming to PC.
The bundle, released seemingly out of nowhere, features two of Square Enix's role-playing games: Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Both games will include full Japanese audio in addition to subtitles.
Like with its PlayStation release, Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD has been remastered in high definition for a "richer, deeper Final Fantasy visual experience."
Final Fantasy X follows Yuna, a young summoner, and Tidus, a star Blitzball player, as they battle an immortal enemy—Sin—to save Spira from destruction. Its sequel, Final Fantasy X-2, picks up the story two years later, after the world has entered a period of "Eternal Calm."
Bates Motel Star and Creators Discuss THAT Ending
WARNING: Huge spoilers for this week's Bates Motel episode, "Forever." YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
So THAT happened, everyone.
Before Bates Motel's final season rolls out next year, it looks like poor Norma's been taken out of play. For good. Norman had sick (yet noble?) plans about the two of them falling asleep forever - a murder/suicide deal involving a gas leak in the house - but Sheriff Romero came in and pulled them both out of bed. Saving Norman in the process, but not Norma, who the good Sheriff could not resuscitate. Norman's plan had failed and as the episode ended, he realized his mother was gone and he was still alive. Possibly his worst nightmare at this point.
Creepy 3D Printed Star Wars Skulls
3D-printing company 3DKitbash has launched a Kickstarter campaign for a collection of skulls inspired by creatures and characters in the Star Wars universe.
The 15 skulls in the collection "will be made of polished nylon and manufactured via an SLS 3D printing process" - click right to see their concept art:
They will be roughly 2" wide, have articulated jaws, and won't require any assembly.
3DKitbash's Kickstarter project will be funded if at least $20,000 is pledged by June 3rd, and, at the time of writing, it has just over $6,000 with 25 days to go.
Backers will each receive their own skulls, with higher tiers offering more skulls, and 92 people have pledged so far. You can also pledge $1 or more to simply support the project for no reward.
A Visual History of Every Power Rangers Team Costume
Inspired by (and using footage from) Japan's Super Sentai series, Haim Saban's Power Rangers has been a thriving TV staple since it first aired in 1993. Nearly 25 years later, Lionsgate and Saban are teaming up to release a new Power Rangers movie reboot, based on the original Mighty Morphin series. Of course, a lot has changed between now and then, as the Rangers have gone through all the colors of the rainbow (and then some).
Click through the gallery below for a look back at all the incarnations of the Power Rangers' costumes over the years...

Syfy Orders Pilot for Story About Superman’s Grandfather
Syfy has officially ordered a pilot for Krypton, a Superman prequel series focusing on the grandfather of the beloved DC Comics hero.
According to Syfy, Krypton "will follow Superman's grandfather – whose House of El was ostracized and shamed – as he fights to redeem his family's honor and save his beloved world from chaos."
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice co-writer David S. Goyer will executive produce Krypton under his Phantom Four banner. Goyer also wrote the pilot alongside Ian Goldberg, who previously worked as a producer on Once Upon a Time and a writer on Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Frequent Peaky Blinders director Colm McCarthy will helm the pilot, with Sleepy Hollow writer Damian Kindler serving as showrunner and EP.
Acclaimed Comic Locke and Key Getting New TV Adaptation
The graphic novel series Locke & Key is getting another shot on television.
IDW Entertainment is developing the TV adaptation with Locke & Key creator Joe Hill. Hill himself is scripting the pilot for the show and will serve as an executive producer on the project. No network is attached as yet.
FOX passed on a Locke & Key series in 2011 from Executive Producer/writer Josh Friedman (Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles) and EPs Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman (Fringe, Star Trek), though IGN checked out the pilot when it had a public screening at San Diego Comic-Con. Afterward, Universal started developing a movie based on the graphic novel though that film was never produced.
