Total War: Warhammer Facing Early Server Issues
We're a few hours into the launch of Total War: Warhammer, but its servers are apparently experiencing some teething problems.
"Due to server load the multiplayer server is having trouble keeping up. If you click around it will crash - please have patience and wait," reads a statement from the official Total War Twitter account.
A post on the game's Steam forum also has a possible fix if you're having issues with crashing. You're advised to let the game load for up to 10 minutes the first time you launch the game. If it's still not working, you should take the following steps:
Set Steam to Offline and try running again. If that fails then verify your Steam Cache, and if that fails try updating your graphics drivers.

Thor 3’s Urban Promises ‘Great Arc’ for Skurge
Spoilers from Thor comics from the 1980s follow!
Karl Urban had an eventful day last Friday, with the debut of a new Star Trek Beyond trailer (in which he returns to the role of Doctor McCoy for a third spin), a very successful Star Trek Fan Event on Paramount’s backlot (which he attended with his co-stars), and with Marvel’s announcement of the Thor: Ragnarok cast (which will include him as the classic Asgardian character Skurge the Executioner).
Infinity War Writers Tease Guardians Crossover
Infinity War screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely all but confirmed a Guardians of the Galaxy crossover—and it's all thanks to Thanos.
"Let's put it this way," Markus told Nerdist. "You know who owns that
Gauntlet, right? And you know who's in another movie? And his kids are in that movie... you do the math!"
Thanos is expected to play a big part in Avengers: Infinity War. He's only shown up briefly in Marvel films in the past, though his presence has largely been felt.
In April, Captain America: Civil War filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo confirmed Chris Pratt's Star-Lord would show up in Avengers: Infinity War, though which installment of the two-part film the character will appear in is unclear. From Markus' comments, it seems like he won't be the only Guardians of the Galaxy character involved. Along with Thanos' adopted kids Gamora and Nebula, Drax the Destroyer has a huge stake in the big guy's future—and all three are a definite possibility as well.
