12 Monkeys: What’s Next for Cassie

12 Monkeys is halfway through what’s been another terrific season of time travel-powered thrills. In the midst of everything going on with the ongoing quest to stop the virus that has nearly wiped out humanity, and the search for the mysterious "Witness," Cassie (Amanda Schull) has changed dramatically, with Season 2 revealing that after she traveled to the future at the end of Season 1, she became a much harder and more dangerous person.

I spoke to Schull about the changes to Cassie and her relationships with Cole, Deacon and Jennifer, and what’s to come on the next episode of 12 Monkeys, "Lullaby," which finds Cassie sent on a very specific mission – only to find herself “rebooting” in time over and over again.

Game of Thrones: The 8 Worst Fathers of the Realm

With the Tarly clan having just been formally introduced on Game of Thrones, and Sam having to suffer through a cruel lecture from his loathsome father Randyll, we thought it would be a great time to scour through Westeros and shine a spotlight on all the bad dads. Also, Father's Day is right around the corner! So buckle up for some lousy, abhorrent treatment by some poor, prickly paterfamiliases.

We suppose one could consider themselves lucky to wind up with someone like Ned Stark as a father, but considering all the misery his kids have been through since his stubborn, noble death, it's almost a toss up. Still, better someone "honorable" like Ned than a devout nut like Stannis or a cold, calculating tyrant like Tywin.

Ex Machina's Alicia Vikander will star as Lara Croft in the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot, and believe it or not, the Oscar-winning actress was secretly a fan of the video game franchise growing up.

"I kept it secret – I didn’t have many girlfriends who shared that interest, but I really loved it," Vikander revealed in the latest issue of Total Film (via GamesRadar). "I did play Tomb Raider back then, even though my parents said I wasn’t allowed to."

The Witness Gets a Demake for NES

Following the release of Jonathan Blow's critically-acclaimed puzzle exploration game earlier this year, developer dustmop has created a demake of The Witness for NES.

The NES ROM, aptly dubbed The Wit.nes, "stands as a reinterpretation and tribute to the original work." A demo is currently available that provides players with a chance explore the starting area. In order to play the demo, you'll need to download an NES emulator, suggestions for which can be found on the download page for dustmop's demo.

Judd Apatow Talks Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping

We recently had the chance to chat with comedy maestro Judd Apatow about his latest producing effort, Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping. Here's what the Trainwreck and Knocked Up filmmaker had to tell us about helping the Lonely Island guys bring their comedy to the big screen.

IGN: Popstar is a music mockumentary and as such draws inevitable comparisons to Spinal Tap. Is the genre still fundamentally the same beast 30 years after Spinal Tap or has it changed dramatically?

Judd Apatow: Well, the way people make real music documentaries, you know, is very different – they're pretty turbo-charged these days. You know, back then, people weren't videotaping every second of their lives. So now, when they make these documentaries they can pretty much show every single moment of their careers. That was what was so funny about Beyoncé's documentary—the one she made about herself—she showed how she basically had been, you know, recording everything that she's done and is doing. And so, there's something funny about people making these movies about themselves that are supposed to be very real but also completely self-promotional. So we thought it would be funny to show what happens when someone tries to make one of these documentaries and their life falls apart while it's happening.
