Persona 5 US Release Date, Collector’s Edition Announced

Atlus has announced that Persona 5 will launch in North America on February 14, 2017.

The standard edition of Persona 5 will be available for $59.99 on PlayStation 4, or $49.99 on PlayStation 3. PlayStation 4 customers who pre-order will receive a limited SteelBook launch edition for no additional cost.

Exclusively for PS4, Atlus will offer a Take Your Heart collector’s edition including the game in a SteelBook case, a 4” plush Morgana toy, a 64-page hardcover art book, a full-size Shujin Academy replica school bag, a soundtrack CD, and a collectible box. The Take Your Heart Edition will be available for $89.99.

Deadpool Star Wants Taskmaster in Deadpool 2

Ed Skrein – who played Ajax in the first Deadpool movie – has been talking about which character he’d like to see appear in the forthcoming sequel.

Deadpool 2 was announced earlier this year, and while there’s no indication which heroes and villains will be joining the franchise, Skrein has a personal favourite…

“The Taskmaster is just you know, so fun” he explained. “To see Taskmaster and Wade Wilson/Deadpool together is so funny – watching them play in the Daniel Way collection they have these incredible riffs. He's a mercenary like Wade Wilson but he's a mercenary without morals. The only redeeming factor of Deadpool is his morals, right? Taskmaster does not have those morals so he back-stabs and stuff like that."

World of Final Fantasy Release Date Announced

World of Final Fantasy will arrive on the PlayStation 4 and the PlayStation Vita on October 25, 2016.

Square-Enix made the announcement today, and dropped a new E3 trailer detailing more of the game's heroes and monsters. Check it out below.

World of Final Fantasy was first announced during the Sony and Square Enix conferences at E3 2015. It aims to expand the Final Fantasy universe for a new generation of players, while giving long-time fans a healthy dose of nostalgia.

Square also announced that fans who preorder the day one edition of World of Final Fantasy will receive the legendary Sephiroth as a summon.

New Details on Horizon: Zero Dawn Special Editions

Update: Sony has released new details on the pre-order bonuses and special editions for Horizon: Zero Dawn.

According to PlayStation Blog, those who pre-order Guerrilla Games' upcoming PS4 exclusive will get the "Nora Machine Trapper Pack," an in-game item that includes weapon and outfit modifications, as well as ammo and trap crafting items. Those who specifically pre-order at GameStop or EB will also get a special outfit with enhanced camouflage and a bow with better accuracy.

Thor: Ragnarok’s Jeff Goldblum on His Role as Grandmaster

Jeff Goldblum will star as the Grandmaster in Thor: Ragnarok and recently shared a few details about his upcoming role.

"He’s a hedonist, a pleasure-seeker, an enjoyer of life and tastes and smells," the actor told Empire Online. "I’m working on my part every day. I’m a sponge, researching."

Goldblum went on to note that director Taika Waititi is giving him the freedom to provide his own unique spin on the character. "

50 New Games Added to PlayStation Now

The PlayStation Now streaming library is growing with dozens of new titles coming to the service on June 7.

50 more games will be added to Now, bringing the service's total tally of games over the 400 mark. Among the games being added are a host of 2K Games titles, including Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, Duke Nukem Forever, The Darkness II, and Spec Ops: The Line.

With the arrival of these games, Sony is also offering a 33 percent discount to those who sign up for a 3-month subscription package in the U.S. and Canada through July 11. The discounted price will cost players $29.99 for the initial period bought during this time, after which they will be charged the full $44.99 price per 3-month pay period if they continue to subscribe.

Kojima Productions has released a new image of Ludens, providing a closer look at the face of the studio's mysterious mascot.

The image, which comes by way of GameSpot, reveals the eyes of the partially-masked figure and bears the tagline "I'll keep coming." When asked for additional details about the image, the studio told the outlet: "You can freely imagine whatever you see."
