Fallout 4 Is Having Trouble With Mods on PS4

It looks like Bethesda is having some trouble preparing for the upcoming PS4 private mod beta for Fallout 4.

Mods came to the Xbox One version of Fallout 4 last month following the launch of the Far Harbor DLC, and are expected to land on PS4 next month. However Bethesda has outlined three known issues.

"PC textures are used," reads the first. "Memory and performance issues may occur. We are working with Sony on optimal texture exporting support in a future update."

Next, sound files are currently not supported due to Sony using a proprietary sound format. Bethesda and Sony will be working on sound processing support for a future update.

Warcraft Is Now the Most Successful Video Game Movie Ever

The Warcraft movie has now taken more at the box office than any previous video game adaptation.

Duncan Jones' film has fared very well in China, contributing over $200 million to its combined $377.6 million worldwide takings (according to Box Office Mojo). That sets it above previous record holder, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, which took $335m back in 2010.

That's even adjusting for inflation - in today's money Prince of Persia took approximately $370m.

Play As Overwatch’s Tracer Using Street Fighter 5 Mod

Have you ever wanted to play as Tracer in Street Fighter V? Whatever your answer, now you can thanks to a mod from TheJamk.

The mod (thanks VG24/7) is essentially a skin for Cammy, replacing Street Fighter V's English lady with Overwatch's English lady.

You won't be playing around with any of Tracer's time-travel shenanigans, but the art is very impressive. There are even a number of color options available from the character select screen.

In other Street Fighter V news, Capcom recently revealed more information on the upcoming Story Mode. Meanwhile, Blizzard shared new details on competitive mode for Overwatch, and announced the game now has over 10 million players.

Independence Day Director Mocks Marvel Movies

Roland Emmerich has derided superhero movies for being 'silly', saying that his own films are more down to Earth.

Speaking to the Guardian, the Independence Day director said:

“When you look at my movies it’s always the regular Joe Schmo that’s the unlikely hero. A lot of Marvel movies, they show people in funny suits running around. I don’t like people in capes. I find it silly when someone dons a superhero suit and flies. I don’t understand it. I grew up in Germany, that’s probably why.”

Emmerich's Joe Schmos have thus far included a Special Forces agent brought back from the dead with superpowers, the ghost of a butler possessing a grandfather clock, and the President of the United States.

GoT Showrunners Call Daenerys a ‘Good’ Targaryen

Spoilers for Game of Thrones' "Battle of the Bastards" continue below.

The night is dark and full of terrors -- one of which is Daenerys Targaryen.

The Khaleesi is ready to board the Westeros Express and head across the Narrow Sea to claim her place on the Iron Throne, and her rising prowess as a conquerer has caused some fans -- including us -- to wonder if she's becoming more villain than hero. Her actions in "Battle of the Bastards" could add further fuel to that theory, with even Tyrion Lannister cautioning Daenerys not to become too much like her father the Mad King.

GoT: The Real-Life Battles That Inspired “Battle of the Bastards”

Spoilers for Game of Thrones' "Battle of the Bastards" continue below. Read on at your own risk.

Director Miguel Sapochnik pulled off something truly impressive in "Battle of the Bastards" by executing a battle sequence that was both massive in scope and incredibly personal. In fact, it was such a difficult feat that showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss said they couldn't find great examples of something similar in film.

Instead, they looked to history, and built up a believable medieval pitched battle from there. In "Battle of the Bastards'" Inside the Episode segment, Benioff and Weiss explained the two key moments of history that they drew inspiration from.
