Resident Evil 7 Won’t Be the Ghost Story the Demo Suggests
Resident Evil 7's lead developers have divulged more details on the finished game, confirming that players won't be switching zombies for ghosts.
The official demo of the game was packed with references to the occult, leading fans of the series to believe that the full game would essentially be a ghost story.
However, director Kōshi Nakanishi said in a Capcom Unity blog post that "I think you can look at the trailer or the demo and get that impression, but don't worry, we haven't just thrown out Resident Evil as it exists and turned it into a ghost story. It will all make sense in the end."
The Story of the Cancelled Daredevil Game
Marvel and Sony were once working on a Daredevil game, but after internal problems and alleged drug abuse, the game never saw the light of day.
According to the latest video by Unseen64, the game was set to be a linear brawler for PlayStation 2 and later the Xbox, but the game’s scope changed considerably once Sony got involved with developer 5000ft Inc. The plan was to coincide the game’s release with the Ben Affleck Daredevil film everyone pretends never existed.
With Sony wanting something more, the developers attempted to make the game more open-world. At one point, much to the dismay of Marvel, Sony decided Daredevil: The Man Without Fear needed to capitalise on the popularity of the - wait for it - Tony Hawk’s series, which would see Daredevil exploring the whole of Hell’s Kitchen and being able to grind along railings and rooftops.
New Professor Layton Coming With a New Main Character
A new Professor Layton game is in the works, and reports suggest the professor won't actually be the game's protagonist.
Polygon reports CEO of Level-5 Akihiro Hino teased the main character won't be Layton, nor will it be his son Alfendi (who appeared in the Layton Brothers: Mystery Room mobile game).

Game of Thrones: Will Jon and Sansa Stay Allies?
SPOILERS for the Season 6 finale of HBO's Game of Thrones follow.
As the houses of the North pledged their allegiance to Jon Snow -- aka the White Wolf -- in a callback to Robb Stark's similarly triumphant moment a few seasons ago, Sansa Stark remained seated through it all with a pointed look -- one conspicuously shared by the ever-scheming Petyr Baelish.
Might Littlefinger's final ploy be to ultimately turn these two Starks against one another and pave the way for his own usurpation of power? He did admit to Sansa, after all, that his dream was to sit upon the Iron Throne with her by his side.
"Sansa, she does love her brother, you know? And they've had a conflicted past," said Game of Thrones co-showrunner David Benioff in HBO's Game of Thrones Season 6: Inside the Episode #10 (seen below).

As Bran taps back into the weirwood network of important plot revelations, we return to the pivotal flashback that was abruptly cut off in “Oathbreaker” earlier this season which saw young Ned Stark defeat the Targaryen guards and ascend up the steps of the Tower of Joy. It turns out what awaited him inside was his dying sister Lyanna Stark, who was bleeding out after delivering baby Jon Snow.
Overwatch Hero Torbjorn Getting Nerfed on Consoles
Blizzard Entertainment will nerf Overwatch hero Torbjorn's turret in an upcoming patch on console, game director Jeff Kaplan confirmed.
Torbjorn's turret damage will be reduced by 30 percent on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, with PC left unchanged. Kaplan expects the update to go live in mid-to-late July, "depending on 1st party certification times."
Aided by a mouse and keyboard, PC players have a better chance of surviving Torbjorn's auto-aiming turret. Some players are suggesting this why Torbjorn will be left untouched on PC—less precise aim on a controller leaves console players at a disadvantage against Torbjorn.
