Harry Potter and the Cursed Child Film Trademark Filed

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child - the new J.K. Rowling play, which opens this month in London's West End - has had a movie-specific trademark filed by Warner Bros.

Spotted by IP lawyer Brian Conway, Warner Bros. applied for a class 9 trademark in the UK, which specifies "motion picture films". Conway points out that Rowling herself has also filed a class 9 trademark for the play in the past.

Rowling has previously denied the play is becoming a film (although some have pointed out that her wording doesn't necessarily rule out it becoming a film in the future).

Watch Two Monster Hunters’ Journey Through Generations

You may have heard that Monster Hunter Generations is really rather good. It's a game of skill, of patience, of skin-crawling defeat and bellowing victory. Let us prove that to you in condensed form.

What started as the simple challenge of two hunters (one newbie, and one who said he was an expert and then failed to demonstrate that at almost any point) taking on a multiplayer boss designed to be taken down by four players quickly became an epic journey of self-discovery and caffeine-induced tremors.

Here's the whole series, following the travails of Alysia and myself as we stumbled through Monster Hunter's complex, punishing, brilliant systems, and emerging with smiles on our faces and a whole lot of baby animal skins in our pouches.

Power Rangers Movie Character Posters Revealed

We've seen them in costume before, but now each new Power Ranger has their very own poster.

Released today by Lionsgate, the film's five leads each get an appropriately coloured billing, along with a character name, just in case you've forgotten all the originals.

Arguably, the lead characters are the least starry part of the franchise reboot, with Bryan Cranston along for the ride as Zordon, Elizabeth Banks as Rita Repulsa. Personally, I'm still hoping we get a surprise Tommy Oliver appearance by Cillian Murphy or something.
