Here’s How Many Episodes are in Game of Thrones: Season 7
Game of Thrones: Season 7 is officially a shorter season.
HBO confirmed what previously had been reported and suggested by showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss: Thrones' seventh season will only be seven episodes long. Up until now, each season of the HBO hit drama were 10 episodes in length.
Additionally, HBO announced that the upcoming season's production delay means it will premiere later than usual. Season 7 will arrive in summer 2017 instead of the typical spring premiere date.
Gary Busey is Hitman’s Next Elusive Target
It seems Agent 47 doesn't just take down mobsters and racketeers, but the famous as well.
Square Enix announced today that Gary Busey will be the next Elusive Target in Hitman. His contract, called "The Wildcard," will be available for seven full days starting on July 21 at 5 a.m. PT.
48 Hrs. star Busey was the winner in a community vote between himself and actor Gary Cole to be the next contract target. The new Elusive Target will appear in the Sapienza map and be available for much longer than previous Elusive Targets, which were limited to a 48-hour window of time.
This is part of the episodic Hitman's continued rollout of content, which this summer will include two bonus episodes set in Sapienza and Marrakesh, furthering the Hitman story and providing new avenues for assassination.
Japanese Server Capacity Delaying Pokemon Go Launch
Pokemon Go is now available in several regions throughout the world but has yet to reach Japan. And the game's developer says the country's servers are to blame for the delay.
The augmented reality game is expected to launch "soon, if not by the end of July," Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke told Forbes.
"At present, the server capacity is Japan is not powerful enough," Hanke said. "We are working hard with our partners in Japan to enable the servers to keep up with the demand once the game goes online there. We expect it to be released by the end of July."

Each episode of CBS Studios' new Star Trek series will be available on Netflix in 188 countries—excluding the United States and Canada—within 24 hours of its U.S. premiere, Netflix announced today.
In the U.S., co-creators Alex Kurtzman and Bryan Fuller's Star Trek series can be found on CBS All Access, and in Canada, on Bell Media.
The streaming giant also announced that all 727 episodes of Star Trek's television library—including Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation, and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine—will be available worldwide on Netflix before the end of 2016.
Fourth Film in Star Trek Reboot Series Announced
Days before Star Trek Beyond hits theaters, Paramount Pictures has announced a sequel that will see the return of a character who first appeared in the 2009 reboot.
Chris Hemsworth, who played the father to Chris Pine's James T. Kirk in the first Trek film to kick off the Kelvin timeline, will return as George Kirk in the fourth in the recent line of Star Trek films. No director has been announced yet, but J.D. Payne and Patrick McKay are on board to write the script.
The pair were originally brought on with Roberto Orci to pen the original script for the third Star Trek film before Orci left the project, after which Doug Jung and Star Trek star Simon Pegg came on to co-write the script that would become Star Trek Beyond. Bad Robot's Lindsey Weber and J.J. Abrams, who helmed 2009's Star Trek and the followup Star Trek Into Darkness, will produce the film.
39 Big Games Still Coming Out in 2016
We're a little more than halfway through the year, but there are still a ton of incredible games on the way. From much-anticipated sequels to exciting new adventures, here are 39 big games still coming out in 2016.
Starbound - July 22
On the surface, Starbound seems like Terraria in space, but this side-scrolling platformer is more adventure game than action sandbox. Starbound’s procedurally generated universe is just the theater for a rich, story-driven adventure that also features plenty of combat, crafting, base-building, resource management, and more. After a while in Early Access, Starbound is finally landing on PC, Mac, and Linux very soon.
Original Star Wars Rebels Plan Had Vader Killing Maul
The Star Wars Rebels: Season 2 finale brought a big player back into the universe, as Darth Maul -- simply Maul now -- made his return.
However, as Rebels co-creator/executive producer Dave Filoni revealed to me at Star Wars Celebration, Maul’s return was nearly a brief one, as the character was originally going to die in that huge finale - coming to his end after facing Darth Vader for the first time, no less.
Said Filoni, “It’s interesting. This is a little bit inside, but Maul wasn’t meant to survive the Malachor episode. There was a lot of thought given to taking him out there because a lot of the Malachor arc, originally, was more about Vader confronting Maul and it was going to be a story about that. It became clear to me as the emotional story developed and we worked on it more that that was just going to be wrong, that if anything happened to Maul it needed to have its proper time and its proper space. That’s how he kind of got a pass and survived to this season.”
