Pokemon Go Dev Confirms Trading, More Pokemon Are Coming
More Pokemon, trading, Pokemon Centers, and PokeStop customization are all being explored for Pokemon Go, Niantic's John Hanke revealed at the San Diego Comic-Con Pokemon Go panel.
Hanke said right now there's a certain set of Pokemon available, but that over the coming months and years we may see Pokemon from beyond the first generation in Pokemon Go.
Trading is also in development, though Hanke said that it's not ready nor does Niantic have a planned release date for the feature.
“I’m sorry, I don’t have a date for you
" Hanke said. "We’re working really hard to keep the servers up and running... It’s at the top of our priority list."
While adding Pokemon Centers is more of an idea right now, Hanke said that Niantic is working on PokeStop customization so that players can build up an area and use items to change PokeStop functionality.

1. Pokemon Go Players at Risk of Landmines in Bosnia The whole point of Pokemon Go is to get players up and outside, walking around in search of wild pocket monsters. A non-governmental agency in Bosnia is warning players in the region to take especially serious the games start-up screen warning to be aware of your surroundings. The country, a central point in European conflicts for over a century, is littered with landmines left over from the 1990s. While the devices of modern war are a hazard to anyone, the agency is particularly concerned Pokemon Go players may wander into places people generally avoid.
Women of Marvel Panel Spotlights The Agents of SHIELD
Today's Women of Marvel panel at Comic-Con was an energetic discussion of all the incredible contributions women have and will continue to make to the company's creative output. As if the announcement of several new comic lines was not exciting enough, the crowd roared when already announced panelists Content Development Director Sana Amanat, producer Judy Stephens, social media manager Adri Cowan, Marvel Live host Lorraine Cink, writer G. Willow Wilson, and costume designer Ann Foley were joined by three of the stars of Agents of SHIELD Chloe Bennet, Ming-Na Wen, and Elizabeth Henstridge.
The panel began with the announcement of this year's Cosplay Variant cover series, a continuation of last year's very popular series. Several covers were shown while panelists marveled (pardon the pun) at the fact that this fall will see Marvel publish 20 female-led comics including Captain Marvel, Kate Bishop's Hawkeye, The Mighty Thor (Jane Foster), and the All-New Wasp. Special note was also made of Moon Girl, who Amanat announced would soon become "the smartest person in the Marvel universe."
Spider-Man Faces Off Against an Army of Clones
Spider-Man has a long history with clones, but his deadliest challenge is yet to come. Today's Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends panel at Comic-Con promised an event that, in standard Dan Slott style, will put your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man through the ringer as never before with Dead No More: The Clone Conspiracy.
Dead No More kicks off in October, but before that we'll see Before Dead No More, a four-part series that begins with Amazing Spider-Man #16. The issue shows Peter uncomfortable with his new-found status as a billionaire, and when an accident occurs at one of his facilities he'll find out just how much responsibility comes with that much power.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2: Kurt Russell’s Ego Costume
Following Marvel's announcement last night at San Diego Comic-Con that Kurt Russell will star as Ego in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, new images of the character's costume have been revealed.
Marvel Digital Media vice president Ryan Penagos shared the following photos via Twitter.
In addition to confirmation that Russell will be playing Star-Lord's father in James Gunn's sequel, Marvel also debuted the film's new logo, announced that Elizabeth Debicki will play Ayesha, and teased Sylvester Stallone's involvement with a quick shot of the actor during the footage screened at the panel.
Star Trek Beyond Warps Into First Place in Box Office Debut
Star Trek Beyond had a respectable opening weekend, debuting in first place at the box office with $59.6 million.
Variety notes that while Paramount Pictures' critically acclaimed new sci-fi film performed well, it failed to reach the same numbers hit by its predecessors, falling short of Star Trek Into Darkness' $70.2 million debut and J.J. Abrams' 2009 film, which had a $75.2 million opening weekend. In order to recoup its $185 million production budget, it will have to find success internationally.

Sherlock Season 4 Teaser Released
During a panel at Comic-Con today, a new trailer for Sherlock's fourth season was revealed.
The trailer features Sherlock mulling over the return of a familiar foe, plus glimpses of Watson, Molly, Mycroft, Mrs. Hudson, and more, and warns that "everything they know will be tested. Everyone they know is under threat."
The panel featured star Benedict Cumberbatch (Sherlock), as well as Amanda Abbington who plays Mary, and executive producers Mark Gatiss, Sue Vertue, and Steven Moffat.
"It's really dark," Abbington said during the panel in reference to season four. "It's the darkest that Steven
and Mark
have written. When we read them, all of us, when we read them we were kind of overwhelmed, I think."
Karl Urban Almost Skipped Star Trek Beyond Because of Star Trek Into Darkness
Karl Urban’s Doctor Leonard “Bones” McCoy has been a member of the onscreen Star Trek family ever since 2009 when director J.J. Abrams took the helm of the beloved franchise. But his status as a true Trek fan stretches back much further than that. Now, Star Trek Beyond -- the third film in the rebooted series -- has hit theaters, and while Abrams is gone from the director’s chair (replaced by Fast and the Furious vet Justin Lin), Urban is back once again. Interestingly, however, Urban almost didn’t come back for the third film after his experience on the prior picture, the love-it or hate-it Star Trek Into Darkness. Mystery Science Theater Reboot Coming Soon to Netflix
The new Mystery Science Theater 3000 reboot series is coming soon to Netflix, the popular streaming service has announced.
According to Netflix's press release, Joel Hodgson's MST3K revival will available exclusively on the service in the "not-too-distant future" across several territories, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, UK and Ireland.
Yesterday, it was announced at San Diego Comic-Con that more alums from the original series will be back for the reboot, including Bill Corbett, Mary Jo Pehl and Kevin Murphy. Dan Harmon is also on board as a guest writer and Felicia Day stars as Kinga, the daughter of Dr. Clayton Forrester.
