Black Panther: Lupita Nyong’o Reveals Story, Villain Details

Plot details for Marvel’s 2018 Black Panther film may be scant right now but actress Lupita Nyong’o did let a little info loose at San Diego Comic-Con over the weekend.

Nyong’o confirmed to Entertainment Weekly that her character, Nakia, is a member of the Black Panther’s elite squad of female bodyguards, the Dora Milaje. It was also hinted that her relationship with the Dora Milaje leader, Okoye (played by Danai Gurira), may be complicated.

Nyong’o also discussed a few more details during Marvel’s own live broadcast.

Nintendo Announces Official NES Book ‘Playing With Power’

Nintendo is giving 17 of its NES classics a scholarly exploration by way of an official hardcover retrospective.

The Prima Games book, titled Playing With Power, is available November 18, and explores classics such as the Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Donkey Kong. The other games in the book aren't listed in the official product description, but you could probably figure them out by crossing 3rd party games off the list of titles on the NES Classic Edition and starting from there.

Alicia Vikander Is Ready to Stay In the Bourne Franchise

Alicia Vikander ushers a new generation into the Bourne franchise in the upcoming flick Jason Bourne.

Marking a continuation from the original Bourne trilogy, the Matt Damon-starring, Paul Greengrass-directed movie tackles modern issues like privacy on the Internet. Vikander's Heather Lee is a CIA agent who is part of the new generation that's emerged since The Bourne Identity hit theaters in 2002. As Damon's Jason Bourne is engaging in epic car chases and running past obstacles, her hacker character is combating him at every turn from behind a computer screen.

Taking on a role in Jason Bourne was more than just a smart career move for Vikander, who won raves for her role in Ex Machina and an Oscar for her part in The Danish Girl; it was a fangirl's dream come true. The Division: Chastain Up for Role in Ubisoft Movie

Jessica Chastain is reportedly in talks to join Ubisoft's film adaptation of The Division.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Chastain would star opposite Jake Gyllenhaal, who's set to star in and produce the film based on the open-world game released earlier this year.

Chastain's credits include The Martian, Interstellar, Zero Dark Thirty, Crimson Peak, and The Huntsman: Winter's War.

Destiny’s Last Xbox 360 And PS3 Patch Deploys Today

Bungie has confirmed that today's patch 2.3.1.0 – which is paving the way for the next expansion, Destiny: Rise of Iron – will be the last scheduled deployment for legacy consoles - the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The statement on the official blog reads:

"Before the launch of Destiny: Rise of Iron on September 20th, there are a few issues we are fixing. This update will also be the last scheduled deployment for Legacy Consoles, excluding emergency fixes for future game-breaking issues."

Of course we knew this was coming when Destiny: Rise of Iron was announced. Bungie revealed it would only be supporting current-gen consoles, leaving the fate of the last generation's legacy consoles in question.

Vikings: Season 5 Adds WWE’s Adam ‘Edge’ Copeland

WWE star Adam "Edge" Copeland has joined the cast of Vikings: Season 5.

According to Deadline, the actor will star as Ketill Flatnose in a recurring role for the upcoming season. The character is described as being "a fierce and brave warrior" who is appointed to be a leader among the Vikings as they journey to Iceland.

In addition to his credits as a WWE superstar, Copeland appeared in the Syfy series Haven.

This Son of Zorn Poster Is Not Your Average Family Photo

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 1 and 2 Coming to PS4, Xbox One

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance is making the jump to current-gen consoles this week, Activision has announced.

Starting today, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2 are available digitally for PS4 via the PlayStation Store and for PC via Steam. Additionally, both games will be available for Xbox One owners via the Xbox Games Store on July 28.

While each game can be purchased individually for $40, Activision is also offering a Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Bundle that gets you both games for $60.

Pacific Rim 2 Won’t Star Charlie Hunnam

Charlie Hunnam won't be reprising his role as Jaeger pilot Raleigh Becket in Pacific Rim 2, the actor has confirmed.

Speaking to MTV, Hunnam noted that while "there was definitely an incarnation of this sequel" that included his character, he wasn't able to fit the project into his schedule.

He cited the ownership change at Legendary Pictures—and the impetus to move forward on production as quickly as possible to cater to the Chinese market—as the primary reason why he wasn't able to fit it into his schedule. With China's Wanda Group calling the shots, Pacific Rim 2 has an aggressive film schedule, and Hunnam "was already booked up for a significant period of the time they were going to need."

Iron Man: 6 Theories About Tony Stark’s Parents

If you haven't been reading Marvel's Iron Man comics in the last couple years, you might not be aware of the surprise revelation that Howard and Maria Stark aren't Tony's biological parents. Tony now knows he was adopted, but he still doesn't know the identities of his birth parents. But that's about to change as writer Brian Michael Bendis and artist Alex Maleev shed more light on Tony's family history in International Iron Man #5 tomorrow. There, Tony will finally meet his birth mother and hopefully find the answers he and his readers have been craving for a long time.

We have to assume, given how long Marvel has built up to this moment, that the reveal is going to involve characters already familiar to readers. Most likely, Marvel is about to establish a family tie between Tony Stark and another famous character. But which one? What characters have the right combination of age, incredible intelligence and dysfunctional personality needed to give birth to someone like Tony Stark? We have a few theories.
