No Man’s Sky PC Release Date Confirmed
No Man's Sky will launch worldwide on PC on August 12, Hello Games founder Sean Murray confirmed on Twitter today.
In a series of tweets, Murray explained that the studio wants to make the game on PC "the best version we can" as reason for the date, which delays the PC launch in North America to a few days after the PlayStation 4 release of the game.
"I really want to clarify our PC release date. It's something we're working extremely hard on," Murray said in the first of a series of tweets. The date had previously been floating around, but Murray took to Twitter to confirm the worldwide launch date.

Doing New Things With Old Powers In Dishonored 2
The way the original Dishonored let you chain and experiment with different abilities was one of many things that made it so great, and of course, Dishonored 2's protagonist, Emily Kaldwin, brings some exciting, all-new powers to the table as well. But she will share the spotlight with previous protagonist Corvo, who brings along a more familiar bag of tricks. Keeping them fresh is key to preventing him from feeling like last year's model, and to that end, developer Arkane Studios has broadened the upgrade system for each individual power significantly.
Corvo made his Dishonored 2 gameplay debut yesterday on the main stage during the QuakeCon 2016 keynote. Seeing him in action and talking to co-director Harvey Smith about this new upgrade philosophy really drove home how creative players will be able to get in Arkane's big sequel.
Suicide Squad’s Mysterious Second Villain Revealed

While model-actress Cara Delevigne may play the lead villain in Suicide Squad, her character, the Enchantress, is not the only baddie the titular protagonists must battle in the new DC Comics film.
The Enchantress is aided by her equally ancient brother, the vengeful entity Incubus. This mysterious character -- based on an obscure DC Comics villain of the same name and whom the filmmakers only referred to publicly as the Adversary until this week -- prompted much speculation when he first appeared in the film's trailers.
Now Canadian-born actor Alain Chanoine, who plays the dual role of Incubus and the businessman whose body he possesses, can finally speak about making the David Ayer-directed film.

No Man’s Sky Companion App Now Available on Mobile
Ahead of No Man Sky's release next week, a fan-made mobile app has surfaced on the Google Play store that boasts an array of handy features when exploring Hello Games' forthcoming space sim.
Dubbed NMS Ally (as spotted by Polygon), this free companion app provides users with the ability to share screenshots and upload them directly from their PlayStation 4. The app also features a creature and planet name generator, as well as an element journal that catalogs the location of discovered elements and where you can find payment for them.
Battery Pack Sales Increased 101 Percent Thanks to Pokemon Go
Everyone's favorite power-hungry app Pokemon Go helped sales of auxiliary battery packs skyrocket.
According to The NPD Group, sales of battery packs "designed to charge mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets" grew by 101 percent in the period between July 10 and July 23.
NPD credits this huge sales boost to "the extraordinary popularity" of Pokemon Go.
"In the six weeks leading up to Pokemon Go’s launch," battery pack sales were only up four percent over the previous year. In the two weeks following the launch of Pokemon Go, "sales of portable power packs reached nearly 1.2 million units," NPD said.
