The Internet Thinks Mads Mikkelsen is in Death Stranding
Hideo Kojima's no stranger to a celebrity cast, and so it is that we may be seeing Hannibal and Casino Royale actor Mads Mikkelsen show up in the mysterious Death Stranding. But this is no regular announcement...
The clues begin with a tweet from Kojima, featuring what appears to be simply an actor in a motion capture rig:

But NeoGAF user Sn4ke_911 saw more to it than that. Somehow, he stumbled across an Instagram post from jmerskine1, posted on the same day, which seemed to show the Danish antagonist specialist wearing a familiar orange-and-grey hoodie:

Here’s What South Park’s Fractured but Whole Smells Like
How bad could it be? Such was the question I asked myself as the Ubisoft representative handed me a controller, slipped one of the publisher’s proprietary Nosulus Rift headsets snugly over my face and appraised me with an ominously mischievous smirk. I was at a Ubisoft showcase on the eve of Gamescom 2016, and I was about to play a fifteen minute demo of South Park: The Fractured but Whole. The same demo had previously been shown to IGN two months prior at E3, but this was the first time it would be experienced with the ability to smell certain elements within the game’s small town setting.
The ‘Xbox Onesie’ is a Real Product
Xbox Australia has announced the 'Xbox Onesie,' literally an Xbox-branded onesie for adult-sized people.
A press release this morning confirms that Xbox Australia is planning to sell a onesie designed for adults to wear, presumably while playing games or doing other Xbox-related activities.
“Set to delight fashionistas and entertainment fans alike,” the press release enthused, “the limited edition Xbox Onesie has been designed in collaboration with some of the country’s biggest film, TV, gaming, and sports fans.”
The NPD Group Release Its Official Top Sales List for July
The top-selling game for the month of July was Grand Theft Auto V.
The top-selling console for July, as reported last week, was Nintendo's 3DS family of systems, helped along by both the release of Monster Hunter: Generations and renewed interest in Pokemon thanks to Pokemon Go.
Microsoft issued its own statement at the start of the month congratulating itself for taking the top-spot in console sales. However, a Microsoft representative told us the Xbox One was July's "best-selling gen eight console." It's an important distinction, because it puts the Xbox One ahead its primary competitor, the PS4, but behind the earlier-gen 3DS.

By writer Christopher Priest & artist Carlo Pagulayan, Jason Paz | DC Comics
Do you ever love a character and wish they’d just get a really sick comic book that encapsulates everything that makes them awesome and provides an introspective, chilling, and brutal reading experience? Well we've already read this first issue and recommend you check out Deathstroke’s new comic series, because Christopher Priest knows a thing or two about making comics and is using that knowhow to craft what’s already looking like the definitive Deathstroke story that honors the character and proves to you that, yes, he is as awesome as you think he is and now everyone else knows, too.
The Black Widow Backstory You Didn’t See in Civil War
Captain America: Civil War directors Joe and Anthony Russo previously confirmed that several scenes were cut from their latest MCU film, and according to the Cap 3 novelization, one of these scenes may have shed a bit more light on the backstory of Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow.
Warning: Captain America: Civil War spoilers ahead.
According to ComicBook.com, the movie's novelization includes a conversation between Natasha Romanoff and Steve Rogers, during which Romanoff discusses her traumatic experience in Russia when she was a young girl. There's no official word on where exactly this conversation would have appeared in the film, though fan speculation suggests it took place during Peggy Carter's funeral.
Event[0] Release Date Announced
Narrative-driven space adventure Event
will be released September 14 on PC and Mac through Steam and the Humble Store.
The release date announcement was accompanied by five new screenshots, showing off the game's setting, an uninhabited spacecraft called Nautilus, as well as a look at the sense of humor of your sole companion, a lonely AI named Kaizen.
Developed by Ocelot Society, the game tasks players with speaking to Kaizen while exploring the spacecraft and solving hacking puzzles throughout the environment. Players will also venture outside the ship for spacewalks.
