Xbox Scorpio to Bring an End to Console Generations
Microsoft believes we've seen the end of console generations, as the company plans to iterate on the Xbox platform going forward.
In an interview with Engadget at Gamescom 2016, Xbox games marketing head Aaron Greenberg said Microsoft thinks "the future is without console generations," highlighting the fact that iterative hardware allows the Xbox platform to continue to build upon its established community and growing library of games.
Microsoft's upcoming console, codenamed Project Scorpio, is the first major step in this direction, which Greenberg noted is "a pretty big bet" for the company. He emphasized that Scorpio's launch isn't the start of a new console generation, as "everything you have continues forward and it works." Instead Scorpio will serve as a new entry in "a family of devices."
Spider-Man Costumes for Mary Jane and Annie Parker
Mary Jane and Annie Parker will be suiting up with superhero costumes of their own in The Amazing Spider-Man: Renew Your Vows, and their brand-new outfits have been revealed.
The costumes, which were designed by Ryan Stegman, provide a "sleek and fashionable" look for Mary Jane, and a parent-minded "safety first" design for MJ and Peter's daughter.

Stranger Things’ “Eleven” Hopes Season 2 Includes Flashbacks
Warning: Spoilers for Netflix's Stranger Things follow.
Since its debut, Stranger Things has become the talked-about TV series of the summer, with a ton of acclaim and attention for the new Netflix series.
One of the most notable characters in Stranger Things, of course, “Eleven”, played by 12-year-old British actress Millie Bobby Brown. This quiet girl, with her shaved head, love of Eggos and, you know, incredibly powerful psychokinetic abilities, makes quite an impression throughout the eight episodes.
I recently sat down with Brown recently to discuss the response Stranger Things has gotten, what it was like for her to portray a character in a decade -- the 1980s -- she is very unfamiliar with, her approach to playing Eleven and much more, including what she'd like to see in Season 2.

Today’s Supergirl: Rebirth #1 by writer Steve Orlando and artist Emanuela Lupacchino takes the reader on a whirlwind ride through her life as we see her status quo shaken up and rejiggered so it more closely resembles the show.
Warning: this article contains spoilers for Supergirl: Rebirth #1!

According an announcement on the official Pottermore website, three new eBooks that "dig deep into the Harry Potter stories" will be available on September 6 for $3 USD each. This collection of "bite-sized" works will include previously-published Pottermore content, as well as new writing from Rowling.
Mr. Robot: Darlene Continues to Take Charge
Warning: Full spoilers for recent Mr. Robot episodes follow.
Worlds are colliding on Mr. Robot, as Darlene (Carly Chaikin) has recently recruited Angela (Portia Doubleday) to help with a bit of crucial hacking – even though Angela had never been a part of this world until now.
I sat down with Chaikin to discuss these recent events and more about Season 2, as Darlene has taken much more of a leadership role, with Elliot (Rami Malek) having attempted to leave his fsociety ties behind.
We also discussed what it was like making the first season, where Darlene’s actual identity, as Elliot’s sister, was kept a secret, which led to some big audience reactions when the truth was revealed...
Marvel’s Runaways Gets Hulu TV Series
Marvel’s TV world is expanding into yet another arena, as the company will be launching a new series, Marvel’s Runaways, on Hulu.
As first reported by Deadline, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will serve as executive producers and co-showrunners on the series, which comes from Marvel Television and ABC Signature.
Marvel previously had developed Runaways as a movie, but that project never came to fruition. The comic book, created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, centers on a group of (mostly) super-powered teenagers who learn their parents are part of a criminal organization, causing them to flee.
