Someone Made No Man’s Sky Inside Classic Doom
No Man's Sky took years to be finished, but it subsequently inspired No Guy's Sky - a Doom mod that took just three weeks to make.
Modder Robert Prest worked on the project by himself, taking plenty of code from DoomZ, another mod he is making based on DayZ.
Everything in No Guy's Sky is randomly generated, including "scenery, sky, floor, plans and aliens," says Prest on his website (where those who want to give it a try can find installation instructions).
As you can see from the video, you have a jetpack, a mining tool, and you can go from planet to planet on your spaceship.
The aliens are generated in a "flipbook style" with different legs, heads, and so on. He even says you can mod it to put your own face in, and that quickly becomes apparent when he comes across an alien which has the face of Hello Games' Sean Murray.
Batman VR Complete – Rocksteady Now Looking to Make Its ‘Dream Game’
Rocksteady Games says Batman: Arkham VR is completed and has gone gold, while also shedding some light on what comes next for the creators of the Arkhamverse.
In an interview with Eurogamer, producer Dax Ginn said the following:
"We submitted
last week which was an awesome experience. One of the developers celebrated the game 'going gold' by dressing up in a gold spandex suit and bringing in a golden boom box.”
As for what comes next, that’s still being decided. Ginn explains Rocksteady is currently in an “enviable” position, where Warner Bros. is supportive of the team taking a break to think about what their next "dream game" is.
Ubisoft Announces New Book Division, Ubisoft Publishing
Ubisoft has created a new internal division, Ubisoft Publishing, to publish books related to its biggest game franchises.
Assassin's Creed: Heresy - which is expected to release on November 15 - is set within the Assassin's Creed universe and follows a novel "that interweaves the story of a modern-day Templar with a 14th-century narrative involving Joan of Arc".
The story is written by Christie Golden, who's also written books based within the worlds of Star Wars, Star Trek, and World of Warcraft. She has also written Assassin's Creed Unity: Abstergo Employee Handbook, and Blackbeard: The Lost Journal, both as part of the Assassin's Creed franchise.
Releasing on the same day will be Assassin's Creed: The Essential guide, a "lavishly illustrated handbook on the characters, historical settings, and scenarios from throughout Assassin’s Creed’s timeline".
Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey Funded Internet ‘S***posting’
Oculus Rift founder, Palmer Luckey, is believed to have financially backed a pro-Trump, anti-Clinton support group.
According to a report on The Daily Beast, the group - called Nimble America - describes itself as a "social welfare 501(c)4 non-profit" organisation, and is thought to be behind provocative anti-Hillary Clinton imagery. Taking credit for a billboard depicting a cartoon Clinton face accompanied by the text "Too Big to Jail", Nimble America states it is dedicated to proving that “s**tposting is powerful and meme magic is real".

Legends of Tomorrow: Season 2 Poster Revealed
Ahead of DC's Legends of Tomorrow return in just a few weeks, The CW has released a new poster, showcasing the latest additions to the team who are joining the fray in Season 2.
The network shared the new promotional art in a post on Legends of Tomorrow's official Twitter account. Check out the poster below to see a few familiar faces alongside newcomers Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) and Citizen Steel (Nick Zano).

FXX Airing Another Marathon of Every Simpsons Episode
FXX will once again make television marathon history when it airs all 600 episodes The Simpsons later this year.
According to the network's announcement, the marathon will begin on Thanksgiving Day, November 24 at 12pm ET and conclude thirteen days (and 300 hours later) at midnight on December 6.
The marathon will encompass all 27 seasons that have been released and will debut in chronological order. FXX is the current record holder for the longest TV marathon, thanks to its 552-episode, twelve-day marathon of The Simpsons, which aired back in 2014.

There were a lot of big events in Mr. Robot’s Season 2 finale, as we got confirmation at last that Tyrell Wellick (Martin Wallström) was alive via an encounter between Tyrell and Elliot - one that quickly went south in a notable way when Tyrell pulled a gun on Elliot. But that wasn’t the only memorable encounter, as Tyrell’s wife, Joanna (Stephanie Corneliussen) discovered the messages she’d been getting from “Tyrell” were actually from Scott (Brian Stokes Mitchell), the husband of Tyrell’s own murder victim, Sharon.
In the wake of the Season 2 finale, I spoke to Corneliussen about all that occurred for Joanna, how much of it she had planned out (including her reaction to Scott's attack) and more – including some lingering questions from the season... like what the hell is Joanna’s baby named?

And as some of Tippett's unused creature designs get a second chance at life in the upcoming AR game HoloGrid, IGN took a tour of the studio.
