Pokemon Generations Episode 4 Released

The Pokemon Company has just released the fourth episode in its web-exclusive series, Pokemon Generations.

Episode 4, aptly titled "Lake of Rage," centers around the Elite Four's iconic Dragon Master, Lance, who travels to the aforementioned lake to investigate reports of an abnormally combative Red Gyarados.

New episodes of Pokemon Generations will launch every week, right up until December 23. The series will feature a total of 18 episodes, with each spotlighting key characters and moments from the first six generations of the popular franchise. Lego Releases New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Sets

Disney and Lego have released a whole new set of Star Wars Lego sets to celebrate Force Friday and the upcoming release of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Five new vehicle sets with accompanying minifigures have released, as well as three buildable figures, which include Jyn Erso, the new droid K-2SO, and an Imperial Death Trooper. Take a look at the sets below:

The new sets include: an Imperial Assault Hovertank, an AT-ST Walker, a TIE Striker, a Rebel U-Wing Fighter, and Krennic's Imperial Shuttle. All of the figures and sets, as well as more images of each, are currently available on Amazon.

LEGO Ship Sets Guinness Record for World’s Largest

A Danish shipping company has built the world's biggest ship made of LEGO bricks. As reported by Brothers Brick, DFDS built the giant plastic vessel, dubbed Jubilee Seaways, with over 1,000,000 individual LEGO bricks.

According to the DFDS blog, the ship was constructed to celebrate the company's 150th anniversary. Modeled after one of DFDS' real-life ferries, over 7,000 employees worked on the construction by assembling thousands of bricks made of 45 individual LEGO pieces.

Paladins: Champions of the Realm Coming to PS4, Xbox One

Hi-Rez Studios' team-based shooter Paladins: Champions of the Realm is getting a closed beta on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Just like on PC and Mac, Paladins will continue to be free on consoles. If you're on PS4, you can sign up for the beta here. Xbox One players can sign up here.

"From day one of development, Paladins was designed with console in mind," the developer wrote on its website. "We’ve enlisted some big-name console gamers to make sure the control scheme feels just right."

The Purge May Get a TV Show

With each film in the series making more money than the last, The Purge now seems to be making the move to TV.

Speaking to CinemaBlend, series writer-director James DeMonaco revealed that talks for a "an interwoven anthology" show were at an advanced stage:

"They came to me about a TV show," he explained. "My idea is that you do six or seven storylines. And I would kind of intercut them, use flashbacks."

The Purge series centres on a near-future USA that suspends all laws and emergency services for a 12-hour period once a year.

The main thinking behind the show seems to be based in being able to expand not the history of Purge Night itself, but what would drive someone to take part in the lawless carnage:

NES Classic Is Budget-Priced NES-talgia…With a Catch

Nintendo’s new mini-console, called the NES Classic, is an ‘80s-themed throwback for anyone who wants to play 30 of the best video games made for the original Nintendo Entertainment System. It packs in truckloads of mostly-excellent classic games, including hits like Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. Overall, it’s an impressively lightweight system that outputs significantly better software emulation compared to Nintendo’s current offerings. And it’s available at a budget-friendly $59.99 USD, but there is one catch: The decision to use wired controllers, and not modify the iconic look of the NES, makes the user-end experience slightly clunky.
