Westworld: Who Is the Maze Meant For?
Full spoilers for Westworld continue below.
The Man in Black is after the deepest level of the game in Westworld, but what does he hope to find there? His bizarre, seemingly villainous fixation with a mysterious map -- what looks like a petroglyph carved into a Host's skull -- is one of the most intriguing elements of HBO's smart new sci-fi show thus far.
The second episode of Westworld, "Chestnut," furthers Ed Harris' character's fixation on the "game" at the center of the theme park. It leads him to Clifton Collins Jr.'s Host character Lawrence, who he believes is the next piece of the puzzle. Tossing him Kissy's skull, he explained of the map, "It's the maze, the deepest level of this game. You're going to help me find the entrance."
Bruce Campbell on Ash vs Evil Dead’s Most Insane Scene Yet
Full spoilers for Ash vs Evil Dead continue below. And if you haven't seen last night's Ash episode yet, "The Morgue," you won't truly understand the depravity of the scene described below.
Watching Bruce Campbell run around a morgue with his head shoved up through a dead body's anus, grappling with its Evil-animated colon, is exactly the type of scene you expect to see on the set of Ash vs Evil Dead, and exactly the type that no amount of preparation can make you ready for.
The "a--hat" scene made its debut during Sunday's "The Morgue," almost five months after I saw Campbell filming the sequence. Because Ash vs Evil Dead sticks to using practical effects for these complicated stunts, this scene involved take after take of Ash Williams fighting against the possessed colon determined to kill him, and take after take of Campbell's head sliding up through the corpse's butt and past its Prince Albert -- a prop added to emphasize just how insane the entire sequence is, even for Evil Dead standards.
Wasteland 3 Hits Crowdfunding Goal in 3 Days
The Wasteland 3 crowd-funding campaign has been completed in just three days.
As of writing, the campaign sits on $2,821,090, exceeding its original target of $2,750,000, with 24 days of potential funding still to go.
"Wasteland 3 represents the most ambitious title that we have crowdfunded so far," says Brian Fargo, CEO of inXile Entertainment. "We wouldn't be here without our fans and backers carrying the torch and we want to continue to repay them by making the best role-playing games possible. With Wasteland 3 we aim to over-deliver like never before."
Following the funding, inXile looks to its campaign stretch goals. $2.85M unlocks further Ranger customisation options, $3M adds in a Knight Rider-style talking car companion, and $3.1M will let players create an emblem which will be seen throughout the game.
More Cartoon Characters Are Coming to Son of Zorn
Making his way from Zephyria to Orange County to New York City, the voice of Zorn himself, Jason Sudekis, visited New York Comic Con this weekend. Sudekis was joined by cast members Johnny Pemberton, Cheryl Hines, Tim Meadows and executive producer Eric Appel to screen next week's episode, "The Weekend Warrior" and to answer questions about the show.
There wasn't too much revealed in terms of upcoming plot lines or announcements except to say that later in the series' 13-episode Season 1 run, we will definitely find out more about Zephyrian culture. Additionally, we will also be seeing more animated characters make their way into the "real" world of Orange County. Some of those guest voices include Head-Butt Man (Rob Riggle), Radiana (Olivia Wilde), Dr. Klorpins (Nick Offerman), and the villainous Vulchizon (Fred Armison).

Stranger Things Season 2 Will Deal With Barb-gate
At New York Comic Con, David Harbour - the powerful slab of old-fashioned justice that played police chief Jim Hopper - addressed one of the internet's most lingering, stinging questions about Stranger Things.
Yes, the shadow of Barb will be cast over proceedings - but die-hard believers in the character might not have their wishes for her fully granted.
Polite warning: spoilers for Stranger Things Season 1 follow. If you haven't seen it and carry on reading, you're essentially creating a horror movie for yourself and we can't help you.
Barb's introduction as a seemingly major character, her subsequent brutal death, and other characters' seeming total lack of interest in mourning her became an Internet touchstone following the show's success.

The first full-length trailer for Amazon’s new motoring show The Grand Tour, starring former Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond, debuted late last week.
On the tone of the footage below, The Grand Tour unsurprisingly appears to share more than a little in common with Top Gear in its previous form.
The Grand Tour will begin on November 18 and will be aired weekly via Amazon Prime. Availability for interested viewers in countries where Amazon Prime is not accessible (like Australia) is yet to be confirmed, though it has been noted on The Grand Tour Facebook page that “details will be released.”
