Westworld: New Images Show Teddy Hunting a Local Villain
This Sunday, October 16th, HBO's Westworld airs its third episode, "The Stray," in which host Teddy (James Marsden) sets off on a path to track down an infamous villain - a move that leaves host Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) alone in Sweetwater.
Check out these new images from the episode that also features stars Anthony Hopkins, Jeffrey Wright, Shannon Woodward, and Luke Hemsworth, plus two recently released posters for the series that debuted at New York Comic Con this past weekend.
The synopsis for "The Stray" reads:
Elsie (Shannon Woodward) and Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth) head into the hills in pursuit of a missing host. Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) investigates the origins of madness and hallucinations within the hosts. William (Jimmi Simpson) finds an attraction he’d like to pursue and drags Logan (Ben Barnes) along for the ride.
Wonder Woman Inspired By Christopher Reeve Superman
While Warner Bros.' Wonder Woman solo film will have a very different tone than Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad, it will draw inspiration from an earlier DC Comics film: Richard Donner's 1978 classic, Superman.
In an interview with Variety, Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins discussed why she is looking to Christopher Reeve's Man of Steel when crafting her upcoming standalone film starring Gal Gadot, noting that Donner's film was all about the viewer. "It was about you watching and realizing what it would feel like to have great powers and do great things. It was full of love and emotion," she said.
Supergirl: First Look at Jimmy Olsen as Guardian
Just a day after it was revealed that James Olsen will become DC Comics hero Guardian on Supergirl in Season 2, the first image of his new alter ego has been revealed.
As seen below, this Guardian is influenced by the character's usual comic book look, though with some changes - and none of the yellow color scheme he usually has. Said Supergirl's producers said in a statement, “James Olsen takes on the mantle of the classic DC Comics hero, Guardian. With his trademark shield intact, James will fight to protect National City alongside Supergirl."

Dishonored VR Is Being Considered by Arkane
A virtual reality Dishonored experience is being considered by Arkane, as revealed to Games Radar by Dishonored 2's level designer, Christophe Carrier.
"We're thinking about it," Carrier told Games Radar, even calling the idea a "level design dream." He does stress that if it were to happen, it wouldn't be a port of Dishonored 1 or 2, but rather an original experience tailored to virtual reality.
"Your only transportation or mobility would be Blink," Carrier explained, referring to one of the series' signature powers that allows for quick teleportation. "And you wouldn’t have all the fatalities because they are animated and you don’t want to do that because you’re going to throw up!"

Fantastic Beasts Posters Include the Deathly Hallows
Warner Bros. has released nine new character posters for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, giving us an up-close look at the magical film's cast.
What's perhaps most striking, though, is the fact Colin Farrell's character Percival Graves is pictured with a Deathly Hallows necklace. Check out this tie directly into the main Harry Potter series and the other posters in the image gallery below.
So could this hint at Graves being a follower of the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald, who was a growing concern at the time of Fantastic Beasts for the Magical Congress of the United States of America? Is he searching for the Elder Wand, Invisibility Cloak and Resurrection Stone himself? Or something else?
