Venom Debuts New Costume for Upcoming Comic Series

Ahead of its November 23 release, Marvel Comics has released a preview of Venom #1 that includes a look at the character's new costume design.

Take a gander:

As you can see, Marvel has returned Venom to a look closer to his classic roots when he was created by Todd McFarlane, Mike Zeck, and David Michelinie. He's no longer the leaner Agent Venom or the streamlined cosmic defender seen in Guardians of the Galaxy, but the hulking, muscular, toothy brute that used to give Spider-Man nightmares.

Apple Just Broke a 15-Year Streak

Apple has reported its first annual revenue decline in 15 years.

According to The Wall Street Journal, the decline is due to relatively mediocre sales of the iPhone 6S and slowing growth in worldwide smartphone sales overall.

During the fiscal fourth quarter, Apple's net income fell 19 percent to $9 billion, down from $11 billion during last year's fourth quarter. Revenue fell 9 percent to $46.9 billion, and the company sold 45.5 million iPhones, which is 2.5 million fewer than in the same period last year.

However Apple is projecting it will have a revenue of between $76 billion and $78 billion in the current quarter, which will be a marginal rise from last year. The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus came out last month and Apple hopes it will drive them forward with strong sales.

The MCU is about to get a lot bigger with the release of Doctor Strange, as the Benedict Cumberbatch film looks to delve into a previously untapped (on the big screen) aspect of the Marvel comics -- the realm of magic and the supernatural.

So let’s take a look at five of the most notable supernatural doors Doctor Strange opens for the Marvel Cinematic Universe…

The Marvel Universe is a big place! Not only do our heroes traverse every corner of the earth -- including locales like Atlantis and the Savage Land -- but they often journey through space and time as well. But Doctor Strange is also a veteran when it comes to travelling to other dimensions.

Ahead of 24: Legacy's debut next year, Fox has released a new trailer for the series, teasing what lies ahead for the show's new hero, former Army Ranger Eric Carter (Straight Outta Compton's Corey Hawkins).
