Why WoW: Legion Patch 7.3 Is Going to Argus
The team behind World of Warcraft is doing their best to live up to their promise to deliver a "steady stream of content" for the Legion expansion. In addition to the upcoming release of Legion Patch 7.1.5, fans learned at BlizzCon 2016 that patch 7.2 will be the Tomb of Sargeras, and were teased that Patch 7.3 is going to send them to Argus, the long-awaited Draenei homeworld.
Speaking to game director Ion Hazzikostas at BlizzCon, he explained that the reason the WoW team is already talking about Patch 7.3 is so the eventual release of Patch 7.2 is put in better context.
"It's hard to say much without spoiling the story of 7.2, which we don't want to do. We definitely wanted to make sure people knew, since otherwise 7.2 might sound like a finale, that there's a whole lot more story waiting for them after that," he told IGN.
Blizzard ‘Actively Working’ on Overwatch Server Browser
Today at BlizzCon 2016, the Overwatch team shed light on a few of the improvements and changes that are on the way for its popular team-based shooter, including when fans might see the addition of a server browser.
During a Q&A with fans, the studio said it's "actively working" on adding a server browser, but couldn't provide a specific date as to when it will arrive.
The team was also asked about holiday-specific items, and whether or not there are plans to make content like the Halloween-exclusive loot available separately sometime in the future. While the studio refrained from giving a definitive answer, the team emphasized that they're still experimenting with the loot system and using community response as a guide when looking toward the future.
