Golden Globes: All the TV and Movie Winners Revealed

The full winners for the 74th Golden Globe Awards have been revealed, and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association certainly had a handful of surprises.

From The Crown sweeping in the TV drama category to Donald Glover's Atlanta getting significant recognition, to La La Land making history as the movie that's won the most Golden Globes to a twist winner for Best Drama Film, here is the full of Golden Globes winners.

Uncharted Writer Boasts of Movie’s ‘Monstrously Cool’ Script

Writer Joe Carnahan has completed his draft of the Uncharted movie—a script he calls "monstrously cool."

"Done and Dusted," Carnahan wrote alongside an image of the script on Instagram. "Now the REAL work begins. If there's a more monstrously cool action script in Hollywood right now, I wanna read it, 'cuz this thing is a BEAST."

The Uncharted movie was first announced in 2009. After nearly 8 years of on-again, off-again development, Carnahan was brought on to write the script. A few months later, Stranger Things director Shawn Levy was tapped to helm the film.

The Flash: Gorilla Grodd Returning, Solovar Debuting

At the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour today it was revealed that Gorilla Grodd will be returning to the The Flash during the second half of Season 3. Specifically, for a two-parter, airing as the 13the and 14the episodes of the season.

The Flash executive producer Andrew Kreisberg broke the news during a panel about the visual effects in the CW DC Comics shows, also revealing that DC Comics character Solovar will be making his debut during this arc, voiced by Keith David (Community, Saints Row 2, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2).

Black Flash Will Return to ‘Multiple’ CW Arrowverse Shows

Black Flash will return, and not just on The Flash.

Arrowverse executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed more details about Black Flash's return during the 2017 winter TV Critics Association press tour. He promised that Black Flash will be back on "multiple shows," but didn't clarify which specifically.

Supergirl Creator on Whether CW Could Make a Superman Series

Superman was a very well received inclusion in Supergirl when Season 2 began, but could the Man of Steel get his own CW spinoff?

The Supergirl producers had to get permission from DC and Warner Bros. to include Superman in his guest role, and they’d have to sign off on future appearances of the character. Asked about the possibility of giving Superman his own series at the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, Supergirl executive producer Greg Berlanti replied, “We were just really lucky. We asked to have him on the first two episodes

and they were great about it."

Brlanti added, "We’d love to have Tyler

back. He’s amazing. He was great in the role.”

Underworld: Blood Wars Underwhelms in Box Office Debut

Underworld: Blood Wars debuted this weekend to underwhelming numbers, earning $13.1 million at the domestic box office.

As noted by The Hollywood Reporter, the fifth entry in Screen Gems' vampire vs. Lycan franchise, from director Anna Foerster, had a production budget of $35 million. While it placed fourth domestically, the film is doing much better internationally, having currently earned a total of $45 million.

Meanwhile, Hidden Figures fared far better in its expansion across North America. The film, which tells the story of the three African American women at NASA who aided in sending the first men into space, is currently sitting at second place with $21.8 million. Riverdale Sets the Stage for More Archie in Pop Culture

Riverdale is a new take on the Archie Comics franchise, which often calls to mind Twin Peaks or 90210 more than the classic comic strip. But Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa previewed during the 2017 winter Television Critics Association press tour that this is simply the beginning of a new media era for the Archie brand.

Calling Riverdale the "mothership," Aguirre-Sacasa discussed how there are already plans to expand the Archie universe in future years. In addition to Archie, Betty and Veronica, the new CW series introduces Josie and the Pussycats as "Riverdale's answer to Destiny's Child or Dreamgirls" and there also are potential ("with a capital P") plans to bring in Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

Supergirl/Flash Musical Crossover Villain Revealed

At the TCA (Television Critics Association) press tour today, Greg Berlanti revealed the villain for the upcoming Supergirl/The Flash musical crossover will be none other than The Music Meister.

The Music Meister was created for the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold's own musical episode, where his powers caused the superheroes and villains he encountered to break into song. Since the musical Flash/Supergirl crossover was announced, fans have speculated a live-action version of the character would be a natural way to make the plotline work.

Neil Patrick Harris voiced the Music Meister on Brave and the Bold. But could he play him on the show? Said Berlanti, about Harris' potential involvement, "We haven't gone about casting yet. It's the right question though!"
