Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto Expresses Concerns About VR
Nintendo creative fellow Shigeru Miyamoto recently shared his thoughts on virtual reality, saying that while some of its issues are being worked out, he still has a few concerns about the technology.
"In terms of being together online in virtual reality, I think a lot of the problems have been solved or are starting to be solved," Miyamoto said in an interview with Time, noting that "this is something that we're looking into, too."
That said, the brilliant designer behind some of Nintendo's most iconic franchises still has lingering concerns about VR. "When I see people play virtual reality, it makes me worry, just as for example if a parent were to see their kid playing virtual reality, it would probably make them worry," he explained.
Lucifer Renewed for Season 3
FOX has renewed its DC/Vertigo Comics-based series Lucifer for a third season. The renewal comes two months before Season 2 resumes airing new episodes on May 1st, following a midseason break.
Said FOX entertainment president David Madden, in a statement, “Lucifer is one of those rare shows that starts strong out of the gate and just keeps getting better and better. Nintendo creative fellow and lauded game designer Shigeru Miyamoto offered his take on the importance of story in games and, more specifically, in the upcoming Zelda: Breath of the Wild.
In an interview with Time, Miyamoto offered his thoughts. “Let me start off by saying that Mr.
and his team, instead of creating a game where you're playing the story, you yourself are embarking on an adventure,” he explained, “and I think they've found a unique way to strike a balance between the story and the fact that you're on an adventure.”

WWE Elimination Chamber’s 5 Best (and 2 Worst) Moments
WWE Elimination Chamber is in the books and the Era of Bray Wyatt -- which will probably only last until WrestleMania (but we'll take it!) -- has begun! SWAMP PARTY, Y'ALL!
Let's quickly check in with this Smackdown Live-only PPV and shine a spotlight on the best and worst moments. Though this event certainly helped shape the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania 33 in Orlando -- it'll be Wyatt vs. Orton, as it now stands -- that doesn't mean things can't change. Cena could join and make it a Triple Threat. Styles could enter the mix, turning it into a Fatal Fourway. It all depends on if Vince thinks a Bray vs. Randy match can stand on its own two feet at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
Black Widow: Scarlett Johansson Says ‘Timing’ Is Key to Solo Movie
Scarlett Johansson believes a solo Black Widow movie should be made, but that timing plays a major factor in making it a reality.
In an interview with Total Film Magazine, Johansson revealed both her and Marvel head Kevin Feige agree Black Widow deserves a solo adventure. However, Johansson thinks "timing" is key to making this film happen, as she has plenty of other movie roles she still wants to do. It'll also be particularly challenging to commit to a Black Widow movie considering the "huge roster" of superheroes Marvel currently has.
"We’re creatively really compatible," Johansson said of herself and Feige. "I think we both agree that the character is right for a standalone, it’s just a case of timing at this point for both Marvel and myself."
