First Look at McFarlane’s Mass Effect: Andromeda Figures
McFarlane Toys' new Mass Effect: Andromeda action figures were on display this weekend at Toy Fair 2017, and we got an up-close look at the figures ahead of their release this summer.
The figures are of Scott and Sara Ryder, the twin siblings who serve as the lead characters in BioWare's upcoming sci-fi RPG. Check out the gallery below to see the two 7-inch figures, which come with swappable helmeted heads, and have a suggested retail price of $19.99 each.
The Sara figure is holding the Camifex Assault Rifle and features over 12 points of articulation, while the Scott model is holding the AAX5 Assault Rifle and has over 14 points of articulation. New Kingdom Hearts 3, FFVII Remake Screenshots Revealed
This week at the Monaco Anime Game International Conference 2017 (MAGIC 2017), Square Enix pulled back the curtain on new screenshots of Final Fantasy VII Remake and Kingdom Hearts III.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura revealed the images at the event, which include two screenshots of Final Fantasy VII Remake and one of Kingdom Hearts III.

Danganronpa V3, Disgaea 5 Complete Get Release Dates
During its annual press event, NIS America outlined its games lineup for 2017, announcing release dates for Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony, Disgaea 5 Complete and several other titles.
As outlined in NISA's 2017 event wrap-up, Danganronpa V3 will release for PS4 and PS Vita on September 26 in North America and September 29 in Europe. Killing Harmony is the third main game in Spike Chunsoft's visual novel adventure series and was confirmed for release in the west last year at PSX 2016.
First Teaser for Stephen King/J.J. Abrams Series Castle Rock Released
Bad Robot Productions has released a mysterious teaser trailer for a new Hulu original series that reteams J.J. Abrams and Stephen King called Castle Rock.
The Bad Robot Twitter account posted a photo featuring Abrams' stationary bearing a handwritten note that included a YouTube link, which leads to this Castle Rock teaser:
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Castle Rock will be an anthology series that brings together the characters and themes of King's works that involve Castle Rock. If multiple seasons are made, the show will center on different groups of characters each season while also introducing elements from prior seasons.
Donald Glover to Star as Simba in New Version of The Lion King
Disney's upcoming The Lion King live-action remake has found its lead.
Director Jon Favreau announced on Twitter that Donald Glover will play Simba, sharing a picture of the actor along with the words "I just can't wait to be king." Variety confirmed that the star is currently in talks with Disney.
Favreau also said on Twitter that James Earl Jones, who played Mufasa in the 1994 animated original, will return. "Looking forward to working with this legend," Favreau wrote along with the hashtag "Mufasa."
New Line of Pokemon Mega Bloks Revealed
New Pokemon toys are on the way, as the popular creature-collecting franchise has joined Mattel's line of re-branded toy sets, Mega Construx.
As reported by Kotaku, Pokemon from the Kanto region will be featured in the upcoming Mega Construx sets, including fan favorites like Pikachu and Charizard. The first sets will release in North America sometime this summer.

Fallout 4 Director on Bethesda Game Studios’ Current Slate of Games in Development
After previously teasing a few major projects in the works, Bethesda Game Studios director Todd Howard has clarified the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls studio's current development slate.
Speaking with IGN, Howard said that, adding up all projects in various states of development, Bethesda Game Studios, the in-house development studio at Bethesda Softworks, has "seven
going," including a new mobile game, though he clarified that two of those projects have already been properly announced. Fallout 4 in VR was revealed at E3 2016, while The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch was confirmed earlier this year.
Jar Jar Binks’ Fate Revealed in Star Wars: Aftermath Novel
Star Wars: Aftermath -- Empire's End, the third entry in Chuck Wendig's novel trilogy set after Return of the Jedi, reveals the fate of the clumsy Gungan outcast, Jar Jar Binks.

According to Mashable, there's an interlude chapter in the book that takes place on Naboo, where we learn that Jar Jar Binks has become a street clown. A refugee boy named Mapo runs into Jar Jar while he's performing for some kids, and the Gungan explains the circumstances that led to his situation and why he isn't wanted.
Justice League Headlines New Set of DC Collectibles
DC Collectibles announced a new line of statues based on the upcoming Justice League movie, as well as other new products based on the DC universe.
The 12-inch statues include Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg. The statues are "inspired by" the film's actors.
Also announced is a "a massive" Batcave vignette based on Batman: The Animated Series. The LED equipped Batcave measures 15.5 x 17 x 21-inches and includes an "an exclusive Alfred action figure."
The DC Bombshells collection is expanding into the DC Designer Series, and the DC Universe Rebirth comics line is getting "several characters" in the DC Icons 6-inch figure series.
The Purge 4 Announced
Universal has announced that a new movie in The Purge franchise is in the works.
The fourth film in the series, which is untitled for now, will open in theaters in July, 2018. The core creative team behind the past three films is returning, including creator James DeMonaco, who wrote and directed the entire franchise thus far. However, DeMonaco will only be penning the script this time around, as he's working with producers to bring in a new director.
Jason Blum, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller, Andrew Form, and Sébastien K. Lemercier are producing once again. There are currently no details about the plot or cast for this fourth film, and whether or not Frank Grillo will return to play Leo Barnes.
