Mortal Kombat Creator on Possibility Street Fighter Crossover
NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon recently spoke to the possibility of a Mortal Kombat vs. Street Fighter game, noting that while there would be many hurdles to overcome, if Capcom approached him about a crossover, he'd "have to entertain it."
"There's part of me that's like, 'That would be such a cool dream,' and then there's another part of me that goes, 'There's no way would that satisfy everybody,'" Boon said on the latest episode of our monthly interview show IGN Unfiltered.
The Mortal Kombat co-creator went on to explain that, even if the game was rated M and they could "tear Ryu's head off," it would still be difficult to make a successful crossover because of how differently the two games play. "There's different pacing, there's different fundamentals with both of them," Boon explained.

Agents of SHIELD’s Next Storyline Rewards Long-Time Fans
SHIELD is on fire. There's smoke and dust in the air, the top secret base is burning, and Daisy Johnson is fighting one of SHIELD's own: former director Jeffrey Mace. Pursuing him down a hallway, she takes a punch, jumping up and off a pillar for a stronger advantage...
And, cut.
Chloe Bennet readies for another take, doing a couple dry runs of Quake's superhero attack pose to get even more amped up for the next run-through of the stunt scene. The camera resets and Quake advances on her adversary once more, this time even more intense than the version they shot previously.
"That's the one," says co-showrunner Jed Whedon, who makes his directorial debut for the culmination of Season 4's "L.M.D." pod, Tuesday's "Self Control." Up next, the fight advances to the SHIELD lab.
Hellboy 3 ‘100% Will Not Happen’, says Guillermo del Toro
It's been at best a shaky proposition for almost 10 years at this point, but the nail seems to have been planted in the coffin for the possibility of Hellboy 3.
Speaking on Twitter, Guillermo del Toro (who directed the first two Hellboy films) explained that following discussions, a potential third entry in the eldritch superhero series will not be made:
Hellboy 3 Sorry to report: Spoke w all parties. Must report that 100% the sequel will not happen. And that is to be the final thing about it

9 Things John Wick Chapter 3 Needs to Do
Keanu Reeves’ John Wick: Chapter 2 aptly built upon the first film and left us with a tantalizing taste of what we might see in a potential John Wick: Chapter 3. Though a third film isn’t confirmed yet, director Chad Stahelski and Reeves have expressed their interest in continuing the saga. Through the first two films, the John Wick franchise has painted a picture of a world very much unlike our own, one which includes a specific assassin subculture and a general population that seems to actively avoid acknowledging the violence around them. There’s still a lot we don’t know about this universe, and there are probably still hidden secrets left to uncover in the third film.
Before you go any further, consider this your spoiler warning. We’re going to be talking about the end of John Wick 2 and what that means going forward. If you haven’t seen the movie yet, you might want to do so before reading this list!

Both Aloy and the rebooted version of Lara Croft wield bows
The '90s was the era that birthed one of the defining virtual characters of a generation: Lara Croft. Her ability to down a T-Rex with a pair of pistols instantly won our hearts in a gaming climate barely touched by oestrogen, and Aloy is cut from the same cloth.
