Batgirl: 7 Actresses Who Should Play the DCEU Heroine
With word coming that Joss Whedon was in talks to jump ship from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) to the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) to write, produce, and direct a standalone Batgirl movie. Whedon has a great track record when it comes to developing strong female characters, both on his own in series like Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly as well as with established properties like Black Widow. But this will mark the first time he actually gets to make a female-centric comic book movie.
While it’s unknown at this time which version of Batgirl he’s going to be adapting for the DCEU, we’ve gone ahead and selected a few actresses who we think Whedon should definitely consider. Check them out in the slideshow below:
9 of the Best Cyborgs Ever!
You know you love them -- all those sci-fi human heroes and villains with a little bit extra where it counts. Get your minds out of the gutter, I’m talking about cyborgs! Part human, part machine, and ready for action! Oh, never mind…
Before we begin, it’s best to clarify our criteria for this list. Having co-written entire books about various film genres (Zombiemania, Cinema and Sorcery), I’ve learned that it’s extremely important to let your readers know why you’re selecting the films you’ve chosen to include; even if they wind up disagreeing -- and they will -- then at least you’ve demonstrated your thought process. And in this case, we need to know precisely how we’re defining a cyborg in order to justify these character choices. We’ll go straight to Merriam-Webster, which defines “cyborg” as:
Beyonce Reportedly Top Choice to Play Nala in Lion King
Disney's live-action remake of The Lion King may have found its Nala in Beyonce Knowles.
According to Variety, the Grammy-winning artist, who is currently pregnant with twins, is the top choice of director Jon Favreau. While Beyonce has not yet signed on for the voice-acting role, Favreau and the studio are reportedly willing to do anything they can in order to work around her schedule.

Zelda: Breath of the Wild Patch Reduces Framerate Problems
The newly-released 1.1.1 patch for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild seemingly removes or reduces the severity of many of the game's dips in framerate, on Wii U and Switch (in both handheld and docked mode).
Nintendo's notes for the 167MB patch simply read: "Adjustments have been made to make for a more pleasant gaming experience." However, players on Twitter (including our own Zelda reviewer), Reddit, NeoGAF, and YouTube have all reported improved performance since installing the update.
The Dark Tower Release Date Pushed Back Again
Sony has pushed back the release date for its The Dark Tower film adaptation once again.
Entertainment Weekly reports the movie, which was originally slated to release on July 28, will now open in theaters a week later on August 4.
Sony's upcoming The Emoji Movie was reportedly the reason behind the delay, as the animated film has switched release dates with The Dark Tower. The studio wants to give The Emoji Movie “more summertime play” before school kicks off in August, which isn't a point of concern with The Dark Tower as it isn't as reliant on young viewers.
There has been barely any promotional material for The Dark Tower, but Stephen King did reveal a new poster for the film just a few weeks ago. Nikolaj Arcel is directing the movie, which stars Idris Elba as Roland Deschain and Matthew McConaughey as Walter Padick.
Hearthstone: All 135 Un’Goro Cards
Hearthstone's next expansion, Journey to Un'Goro, will be with us on April 6 (or possibly April 7 depending on where you live), and we've now seen the entire 135 card set. It's a little hard to say how the meta is going to change as a result, but one thing's for sure - Blizzard has introduced some pretty interesting new concepts and mechanics. Every class, for instance, has a legendary Quest card, and if you fulfil the requirements of the quest you'll get a pretty epic - and unique - reward. Crucially, the one mana Quest cards will always be in your opening hand (unless you mulligan it away) so you can build your deck around the quest and get started right away.
There's also a heap of cards with the new Adapt keyword, which functions a little like Discover. Players are presented with three choices, drawn from a pool of ten, and whatever they choose is then instantly applied to the base card. The idea is that players can adapt to the situation at hand, and it's certainly a pretty awesome concept.
