Star Wars Rebels Will Show Hera Becoming a Rogue One General
With the announcement that Star Wars Rebels is coming to an end with Season 4, fans should soon find out the fates of the main characters and where they end up by the time the original Star Wars (Episode IV: A New Hope) begins. Of course, thanks to Rogue One we know that both Chopper and Hera are still around and active in the Rebellion – with Hera getting a promotion at some point, as revealed by the page for “General Syndulla” heard in the film inside the Rebel base on Yavin.
While it’s not clear just how close to the events of Episode IV Rebels will get, at Star Wars Celebration today, Rebels co-creator Dave Filoni revealed that by the end of the series, Hera will indeed be a general.
Star Wars Rebels: Clone Wars’ Bo-Katan Makes Her Return
Star Wars Rebels: Season 4 is finally bringing back Bo-Katan Kryze (voiced by Katee Sackhoff) from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The confirmation came after voice actress Tiya Sircar teased that there are some big Mandalorian episodes coming up for her character, Sabine Wren in Rebels' final season. Sackhoff herself had actually said she was coming back quite awhile go, but until now, it hadn't been confirmed by Disney or Lucasfilm.
"What I think I can say is that if there are any Mandalorian fans out there, I think you will be happy with some specific episodes in this upcoming season," Sircar said during the panel. "And I think you might be surprised where we end up and who we're going..."

Warwick Davis Voicing a Character in Star Wars Rebels
Warwick Davis is voicing Rukh in the upcoming season of Star Wars Rebels.
Rukh, a Noghri warrior who serves as Admiral Thrawn's bodyguard, has never been seen before in the series.
Rukh revealed during the Star Wars Rebels panel.
Warwick Davis is no stranger to the world of Star Wars, having first appeared in the franchise as Wicket in Return of the Jedi. His attachment to the movies has continued through the years, with Davis also appearing on, and hosting, panels during Star Wars Celebration. The idea of Davis voicing a character in Rebels was first brought up during a panel at last year's Celebration in London.
These Drivable, Modified Star Wars Cars Are Insane
Here's something I discovered at Star Wars: Celebration today - there's a big club of people modifying drivable vehicles to look like they came right out of Star Wars.
Some are sponsored by Hot Wheels, but most of them are just enthusiast made, built, and driven across the United States to attend events. Check them out in the gallery below - click right to see all the images:
They're usually custom-painted and weathered, and include designs inspired by different Star Wars characters, as well as a variety of Star Wars-themed accessories, like gearsticks.
The club is called Road Squadron, and their slogan is "Carfighters Coast to Coast". You can find them, and the details of events they'll be attending, as well as some interesting updates on Star Wars-style road-trips on Facebook.
Star Wars Rebels Ending With Season 4
The end is almost here for Star Wars Rebels, with the announcement that Season 4 will be the final year for the animated series.
The announcement was made at the Rebels panel at Star Wars Celebration in Orlando by Dave Filoni, the show’s co-creator and executive producer, who revealed the previously-announced fourth season will wrap up the story of the Ghost crew. Rebels’ core cast members Freddie Prinze, Jr. (“Kanan”), Tiya Sircar (“Hera”), Taylor Gray (“Ezra”), Vanessa Marshall (“Hera”), and Steve Blum (“Zeb”) were all present for the panel, and the announcement, as well.
During the panel, Filoni told the crowd of fans, "I really appreciate that love from you guys. I think I can make this story as meaningful as can be." He stressed ending the show now was his decision, adding, "I know what it's like when I don't get to end a series," referring to The Clone Wars.

Star Wars: See Rey, Ahsoka and Sabine Together
At Star Wars Celebration on Friday, fans were treated to a special panel called The Heroines of Star Wars. As the title implied, the focus was on the female heroes from the series, as depicted in both live action and animation.
Panelists Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka Tano), Tiya Sircar (the voice of Sabine Wren) and Dave Filoni (Star Wars Rebels co-creator/EP) looked at the franchise's history of heroines, beginning with Princess Leia, and where things are going next, with the launch of Star Wars Forces of Destiny, the new initiative that includes animated shorts and a toy line.
Star Wars: Lucasfilm Boss on What Comes After Episode 9
We only just got a new teaser for Episode 8, and already people are thinking about the future of Star Wars beyond the close of the Skywalker saga.
Speaking to Fandango, Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy said "I certainly foresee movies past nine," but couldn't say if those hypothetical future films will continue the story playing out in the main films in the franchise.
Obviously, Rogue One and the upcoming Han Solo movie are Star Wars movies, but the fate of the core "Episode" films that have tracked the rise (and fall) of Anakin and his son Luke Skywalker -- and now are telling Rey's story -- remains up in the air.
