Prey Exploit Allows Players to Create Unlimited Resources

A glitch that allows players to create unlimited resources has been discovered in Prey.

As reported by Polygon, the exploit (demonstrated by YouTube user Random Chievo's) can be used about an hour into the game. Once you have access to Morgan Yu's office, you'll be able to use the game's first Material Recycler, which breaks down loot into resources that can be used to craft various items.

If you fill up the Material Recycler with Material that has already been recycled and divide it up into at least four piles, when you activate the Recycler, the machine will yield twice as much Material. Polygon has confirmed the exploit works on both the PC and PS4 versions of the game.
