Why Boba Fett and the Bounty Hunters Deserve a Movie
The words bounty hunter in the Star Wars universe tend to be synonymous with one character: Boba Fett. The character and his memorable armor have appeal, to be sure, but he's not the only being for hire in the galaxy. Droids, aliens, and humanoids have all taken credits for hunting down individuals from the heart of the Empire to the Outer Rim. They often fend for themselves in order to make the maximum amount of profit, but sometimes they team up Ocean's 11 style when the job calls for different talents and specialties... and also has a gigantic enough payout that it's still sizable when it's split multiple ways. That last part is key.
In the Star Wars movies, we've spent time around the Fetts, Zam Wesell, and 4-LOM to name a few. The animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars introduced the likes of the stylish hat-wearing Cad Bane and Sugi. Dengar keeps appearing in stories in the current storytelling universe for some reason. But in the days of the Expanded Universe/Legends books and comics, the plots mostly focused on the bounty hunters we met in the original trilogy.

Steam Overhauling Trading Cards System Because of ‘Fake Games’
Valve is bringing some big changes to the Steam trading card system in order to prevent fake games exploits.
A Steam blog post has addressed an issue around trading cards, in which fake games were being created to generate cards which could then be sold on the market for profit.
The process comes from an allowance Steam gives to developers which lets them generate thousands of keys for their games. Where this becomes a problem is when these fake developers do this for fraudulent games and then use bots to have the games run idle and collect trading cards.
Steam says that the profiteering side of the exploit is only part of the problem, as the bots can potentially have an impact on the Steam Store's algorithm. Having a fake game played by many bots means the algorithm runs the risk of mistaking it for a popular title and may begin to suggest it to real players.
Nerf Releasing Boba Fett-Themed Blaster and Mask
Nerf will release a Mandalorian edition blaster and face mask set, which is currently available for pre-order. GameStop has the Boba Fett themed set at $89.99 in the US with a release date of November 17 this year.
The blaster comes in the form of a red and green Nerf Rival Apollo XV-700 complete with matching ammunition. The mask is also from the Rival series and, like the blaster, sports the iconic colours.
The pair are inspired by the upcoming Star Wars Battlefront 2 game which debuted this year at the Star Wars Celebration.
Danger Zone Revives Burnout’s Body, if not its Soul
Burnout 3 has always been my favorite racing game. Its near-perfect mix of high-speed arcade-y action with aggressive modes like Road Rage and the best-ever form of Crash Mode’s puzzle-y intersections made it both endearing and highly replayable. Eventually, however, EA applied its Burnout resources to Need for Speed instead, and Burnout’s original creators left the company.
Danger Zone, out May 30 for PC and PS4, is the closest thing we’re likely to get to a new and proper Burnout – made by its original creators – right down to the Crashbreakers (called Smashbreakers here), cash pickups, and ability to control your car in the air in slow-motion (nee Aftertouch). It’s a stripped down Burnout; the only mode is Crash Testing, and all of the events take place indoors in a drab virtual simulation chamber, but at least the price ($13) is reflective of the minimism.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 Release Date, Details Revealed

Konami says PES 2018 will see more new additions to the franchise than there's been in a decade. Improvements noted by the company include PC enhancements for console parity, a fresh user interface with a broadcast feel, and adjusted control systems — like strategic dribbling — for more fluidity.
The visuals also are getting a new can of paint, particularly with the animation and lighting systems. Konami is expanding the online portions of PES 2018 too, offering full 11-vs.-11 matches as well as co-operative 2-vs.-2 and 3-vs.-3 modes.
Speaking of online, Konami is keeping its eye on the eSports ball, saying PES 2018 will have PES League "fully integrated into the main game."

Netflix to Produce The Witcher TV Series
Netflix will develop and produce a new show based on The Witcher Saga, the series of eight novels by Andrzej Sapkowski that inspired the hugely popular CD Projekt Red RPG games.
Sapkowski - who does not profit from the game series - will serve as a creative consultant on the series. “I’m thrilled that Netflix will be doing an adaptation of my stories," he explained in a press release, "staying true to the source material and the themes that I have spent over thirty years writing."
