Xbox’s Netflix-Like Game Pass Launches Next Month
Xbox Game Pass, Microsoft's Netflix-like subscription service, is now available for Xbox Live Gold subscribers. The service will launch for non-Gold members on June 1.
Announced earlier this year, Xbox Game Pass provides subscribers access to a library of over 100 games for $10 USD / £8 per month. Notable games available at the service's launch include Halo 5: Guardians, NBA 2K16, Mad Max, Borderlands, the BioShock franchise, and Gears of War 1-3. All Xbox One owners can begin their subscription with a 14-day free trial.
Each month, games will be cycled in and out of the service, according to Microsoft. Additionally, as long as a game is currently part of the Game Pass catalog, it will be available to purchase at a 20 percent discount.

Far Cry 5 Key Art, Characters Revealed
Ubisoft has revealed the first piece of Far Cry 5 art. After announcing the title of the game and showcasing a series of teasers that highlighted the game's setting of Hope County, Montana, Ubisoft took a slightly more sinister turn with this piece.
The art, very much a sendup on da Vinci's Last Supper, focuses on what we assume to be FC5's villains. Much like the ominous art where 3 showcased Vaas Montenegro and 4 highlighted Pagan Min, this group of folks are surrounded by weapons, religion, and a nice pup.

The first in-costume shots of Benicio del Toro and Laura Dern's characters in Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been shown.
Warning: the following contains small plot details and in-costume images of until-now unrevealed characters. You may consider these mild spoilers.
Annie Leibowitz - shooting for Vanity Fair - revealed the looks of the two most high-profile actors yet to be shown.
Benicio del Toro will play an unnamed character, but referred to as "DJ" by the filmmakers, and is described only as a "shady character". Laura Dern will play Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, a Resistance officer.
Ken Jeong on Justice League Action and COD
Actor, comedian and licensed physician, Ken Jeong seems to be tackling as many forms of media as possible, film, TV, animation and now video games. We recently talked to the Community and Hangover star about his work on Justice League Action, the upcoming animated film Amusement Park, his recent work on Call of Duty, and why the film adaptation of the novel, Crazy Rich Asians is kind of like The Avengers.
IGN: What can you tell us about your new animated film, Amusement Park? Have you wrapped yet?
Ken Jeong: We’re close. I’ve been working on that for the last two years. It’s amazing. It’s been so much fun because it’s a very personal project project for him (director, and former Pixar animator, Dylan Brown), and what I love about that movie is that it lends itself to more drama. The part I’m involved in is the escapism that the protagonist goes through. Even though I’m comic relief in that one, I just love the script and the story.

PlayStation Store Now Has Steam-Like Curated Playlists
Sony has launched a new recommendation system on the PlayStation store.
Dubbed The Creators, (via Kotaku) the new feature is similar to Steam's curator recommendations in that it displays recommended games, only in this version the suggestions come from developers rather than influencers.
As of now, the lineup includes 17 prominent developers and studios such as the President of Sony's Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida and the Final Fantasy 15 team.
Many of the picks are obvious choices, such as games made by the person or team in question or just generally popular titles. However, lots of the choices do appear genuine with Rocket League Developer, Psyonix expressing their love of obscure sports titles and Yoshida praising the amazing Sound Shapes.
New Pokemon Go Anti-Cheat System Makes Rare Pokemon Impossible to Find
Like any game, Pokemon Go has hackers, whether they're using bots or other ways to gain an advantage quickly. But Niantic is now cracking down harder on them.
According to Pokemon Go Hub, a server-side security measure was activated over the weekend which now means previously flagged accounts are no longer able to see rare Pokemon spawns in an area.
Anyone caught using third party trackers to catch Pokemon will now be unable to catch the very best.
An image shared on the Pokemon Go Dev Discord server shows two screenshots of the game at the same time and location from two accounts, one normal, and one flagged. The normal account can see a Geodude, Kabuto, and Venonat nearby, while the flagged account can only see the Geodude.
Tom Cruise Says Top Gun 2 ‘Is Definitely Happening’
Tom Cruise feels the need for a Top Gun sequel, and he says it's "definitely happening."
While promoting The Mummy, Cruise confirmed Top Gun 2 is on the way with the Australian morning show Sunrise, according to The Guardian. "I’m going to start filming it probably in the next year," he said.
"I know. It’s happening. It is definitely happening ... you’re the first people that I’ve said this to."
There's been talk about Top Gun 2 for years. Back in 2014, producer Jerry Bruckheimer said the sequel would revolve around drone usage. And producer David Ellison built off that idea in 2015, mentioning that Top Gun 2 would explore "the end of an era of dogfighting."
