Gears of War 4: Rise of the Horde Update Detailed
Gears of War 4 developer The Coalition has detailed Rise of the Horde, the next major update coming to its third-person shooter.
According to the studio's announcement on Xbox Wire, Rise of the Horde will be available as a free update on June 6, bringing with it fifteen new Horde Skills, three for each of Gears of War 4's character classes.
A new ability called Cloak will be available for the Scout class, allowing players to turn invisible. Magic Bullet is a new skill coming to Snipers, which increases the damage bonus rewards for landing a headshot. Meanwhile, the new Berserker and Last Stand skills for Heavies will give you the ability to deal and withstand more damage with Heavy Weapons when low on health. Several other new skills, including ones for Soldiers and Engineers are also on the way, all of which are detailed here.
Game of Thrones’ Final Season Might Not Air Until 2019
The eighth and final season of Game of Thrones might not air until 2019.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, HBO programming president Casey Bloys revealed that, while nothing's set in stone yet, there's a chance fans will have to wait an extra year for the show's final season. It all depends on how much time showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss will need to make Season 8.
"They have to write the episodes and figure out the production schedule," Bloys said. "We’ll have a better sense of that once they get further into the writing."
Bloys also confirmed that the upcoming Game of Thrones spinoffs currently in development will only air sometime after Season 8 concludes, as HBO wants to give the original series "its proper send off first."
M. Night Shyamalan’s Tales From the Crypt Reboot Shelved Due to Rights Issues
M. Night Shyamalan's Tales From the Crypt reboot for TNT is currently no longer in the works due to rights issues, though the network may revisit the project in the future.
In an interview with Deadline, TNT and TBS president Kevin Reilly confirmed that, because of "a very complicated underlying rights structure," Shyamalan's reboot is no longer in development. The project faced legal issues since it was first announced back in 2016.
“That one got really caught up in a complete legal mess unfortunately with a very complicated underlying rights structure," Reilly said. "We lost so much time, so I said, ‘Look, I’m not waiting around four years for this thing.'"

NBA Playgrounds: Switch Owners Get New Shaq Fu Free
Nintendo Switch owners who purchase, or have already purchased, NBA Playgrounds before online play is added will receive Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn for free when it's released this fall.
Developer Saber Interactive revealed the offer ahead of an impending update to the game, with more details to come about how players can acquire Shaq Fu for free.
Challenge Mode, which allows players to compete online, has already been added to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions of the arcade basketball game. Developer Saber Interactive also recently released the game's first title update on PlayStation 4 and PC, adjusting the "entire shooting system" and adding 15 new players, including Shaq. The update is expected to hit Xbox One and Switch "within days."

Attack on Titan 2: Future Coordinates has been announced for Nintendo 3DS.
According to Spike Chunsoft's teaser site (translation via Gematsu), the game is a followup to Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains and will launch in Japan later this year.
Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains is an action RPG that released for 3DS in North America in 2015. The game puts players in the roles of characters from the popular Attack on Titan anime and manga series, and sports a single-player story mode as well as local and online multiplayer.
Wonder Woman Takes in $11 Million in Previews
Wonder Woman is off to a good start at the domestic box office.
According to Box Office Mojo, the Gal Gadot-led DC motion picture picked up an impressive $11 million in the box office on Thursday night. That makes Wonder Woman 2017's third-highest-grossing film in terms of North American preview numbers. It only trails Beauty and the Beast ($16.3 million) and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 ($17 million).
The box office projections say that Wonder Woman is expected to bring in $100 million this weekend, which would certainly put the film, directed by Patty Jenkins, on track to be a major commercial success. The film's also off to a strong start internationally, having made an an estimated $18.7 million in its foreign debut.

New details about Tokyo RPG Factory's upcoming game Lost Sphear have been revealed.
Following the announcement of Lost Sphear earlier this week, Square Enix has launched a teaser site for the title that contains new information about the game's story and its cast of characters, as well as its battle system.
