An estimated $200,000 USD worth of Star Wars merchandise was stolen from Steve Sansweet, the owner of the world's largest private collection of Star Wars memorabilia.
The collection, which Sansweet has accumulated over the last 40 years, contains 400,000 items in total, according to ABC7 News (via Variety). Notable items include a $5,000 USD wind-up R2D2, a $1,000 USD cardboard Death Star, and "every action figure."
The Bay Area collector says he began buying memorabilia because it was like "bringing home a piece of the movie." He added, "I didn’t mean to have the world’s largest collection, it just happened."

Blizzard Shows Off 24 Overwatch Themed Controllers
Blizzard and art agency Artitude have collaborated to create 24 custom controller designs, based on each of Overwatch's playable heroes.
Sadly, they're not about to become widely available, but if you live in Europe you may be able to win one (more on that below). If you don't live in Europe, may I suggest staring longingly at this gallery?
Announced on Blizzard's European blog, 48 of the controllers (there are both Xbox One and PS4 versions for each hero) will be made available in a series of competitions.
They'll be announced through Blizzard's official channels (we'd suggest keeping an eye on the blog, the main Overwatch Twitter account, the Overwatch EU account)... or you could win one through us. IGN UK will be giving away a Genji-themed PS4 controller later today - if you live in the UK, keep an eye on our social channels for a chance to win this:

This was followed by the departure of both Eric Wolpaw and Chet Faliszek within months of each other earlier this year.

Overwatch Closing Anniversary Event With Double XP Weekend
The Overwatch Anniversary event is coming to a close and is finishing up by granting players Double XP this weekend.
Double Experience Points can be earned this weekend by playing any match type and will apply to almost every way experience can currently be earned in game. The experience boost will also stack with group and internet game room bonuses but will not alter the First Win of the Day 1500 XP bonus.
This should act as a nice boost for anyone still scrabbling to unlock any of the voice lines or skins exclusive in the Anniversary Loot Boxes during the event.
Spider-Man Star Tom Holland Would Like to Play Batman or James Bond
Playing Spider-Man isn't enough for Tom Holland, as the actor wants to take on a few more iconic roles.
While speaking with Spider-Man: Homecoming co-star Zendaya for Interview Magazine, Holland revealed he'd love to star as a certain DC superhero or 00 agent. "James Bond," said Holland. "Or maybe I'll do Batman."
When Zendaya jokingly told Holland that it would be a bit unfair if he got to play Batman, James Bond, and Spider-Man, Holland wholeheartedly agreed. "It would be so unfair," said Holland. "But life isn't fair, Zendaya."
You can watch Holland portray Spider-Man when Spider-Man: Homecoming opens in theaters on July 7. Holland is also set to portray young Nathan Drake in the upcoming Uncharted movie, which doesn't have a release date yet. Read why we believe Holland is an inspired choice for the role of Nathan Drake and check out our recent Instagram video with the actor below.
David Harbour Was Deemed ‘Too Fat’ to Play The Blob
Stranger Things star David Harbour was deemed too fat to play The Blob in X-Men: Origins Wolverine.
In an interview with TheWrap, Harbour revealed that one of the film's casting directors thought The Blob would've been "the perfect role" for the actor, because the filmmakers needed "a big guy to wear the suit."
Harbour eventually read for the role, and his audition was going great until he decided to jokingly yell “I got your Blob right here" while lifting up his shirt and squeezing his belly. After the audition Harbour met with the film's director, Gavin Hood, who revealed that Harbour didn't get the part because they were concerned about his health.
