Shadow of the Colossus PS4 Coming in 2018

A PS4 version of Shadow of the Colossus has been revealed, and will arrive in 2018.

Announced during Sony's E3 press conference, the game is the second re-release for the 2005 classic. It's unclear whether this is a remaster or a remake at time of writing. It's available for preorder now.

An HD remaster of the game was released for PlayStation 3 in 2011 - this PS4 version has been handled by the same studio, Bluepoint.

The Last Guardian - the third part of creator Fumito Ueda's spiritual trilogy of games that comprises Ico and Shadow of the Colossus - was released last year.

Monster Hunter World Announced

Monster Hunter World was announced at Sony's E3 2017 press conference today. It's slated to come out in early 2018 in the series' first simultaneous worldwide launch, and is available for preorder now.

Monster Hunter World has also been confirmed for Xbox One, with a PC version arriving at a later date.

Capcom's announcement says that Monster Hunter world will introduce a "seamless gameplay experience allowing players to move freely across map areas that comprise the living ecosystem" and "a newly designed online drop-in multiplayer system" for up to three players across regions.

A couple of days ago we learned Capcom had filed a trademark for Monster Hunter World. It'll be the first mainline Monster Hunter game for a Sony platform since 2011's Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.

Tropico 6 Officially Announced

After a brief tease earlier this month, Tropico 6 has officially been announced.

The PlayStation Europe Twitter account revealed that Tropico 6 is coming out next year. The strategy game is heading to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Horizon Zero Dawn DLC Announced

During PlayStation's E3 2017 press conference, Horizon Zero Dawn's story DLC, The Frozen Wilds, was announced.

A new trailer for the DLC debuted at the start of the PlayStation conference, showcasing the return of Aloy. It will be released in 2017.

Sony recently revealed that Horizon has now sold 3.4 million copies, over 915,000 of which were digital copies. Back in March, more than 2.6 million units of Horizon Zero Dawn were sold worldwide during the game's first two weeks on sale, becoming the best-selling new first-party IP on PlayStation 4, as well as Guerrilla Games' "biggest debut."

PSX 2017 Dates and Location Announced

Sony announced the wheres and whats of its annual PlayStation fan conference today.

PSX 2017 will be held in Anaheim, CA, on December 9-10, according to the official PlayStation Twitter account.

Ticket prices, and more info for the event, will be announced at a future date.

The first PlayStation Experience was held in 2014, and Sony has since used it to make big announcements, show off gameplay, and celebrate its many fans.

Superhot VR Is Coming to PSVR

Superhot VR will be released for PlayStation VR this summer.

Sony shared the news during the pre-show ahead of its E3 2017 PlayStation conference, and relayed the announcement in a post on Twitter.

Superhot is a first-person shooter where time moves only when you move. The game made its debut on PC in February of last year before making its way to Xbox One a few months later.

Sony’s PlayLink Is a Collection of Socially-Focused Games

During its livestream in the lead-up to its big E3 conference, Sony announced PlayLink with the goal of bringing people together socially and through co-op experiences who might otherwise not play games.

Sony's Azad Qizilbash said PlayLink is about "trying to get as many people to play games as possible."

PlayLink is a "category of games" designed to be played socially, Qizilbash said. Among the PlayLink games announced was Hidden Agenda, from the developer of Until Dawn.

Undertale Announced for PS4 and Vita

Undertale is coming this summer to PlayStation 4 and PS Vita with physical and special editions, Sony announced before its E3 press conference.

The physical edition includes a 24-page illustrated booklet, and the collector's edition adds the soundtrack, annotated sheet music, and a musical locket.
