Here’s What Yakuza 6’s New Engine Brings to the Crime-Drama Series

Now an older man at 48, Kazuma Kiryu is at odds with the world around him. Fresh out of prison, he learns that Haruka, the orphan girl he has protected since the first game, is in a coma after a hit-and-run car accident, and has left behind a newborn son, Haruto.

It’s not long before Kiryu is plunged back into the criminal underworld, as he takes Haruto on a trip across Japan to Hiroshima to discover the mystery behind Haruka’s tragic circumstances.

By now we know what to expect from a Yakuza game – exceptional storytelling, visceral violence and absurdist humor – but Yakuza 6: The Song of Life ups the ante in terms of production.

Built in the all-new Dragon Engine, for the first time it offers a near-seamless experience, allowing Kiryu to enter buildings, shops and restaurants with no loading screen (except for when entering some cut-scenes or accessing certain mini-games). Random street battles occur seamlessly too, with the added bonus that you can now choose to run away from a fight. The new engine can also handle more on-screen characters, so get ready to brawl with dozens of enemies at once.

Top Gun Sequel Release Date, Director Announced

Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski will officially helm Top Gun: Maverick.

Producer Jerry Bruckheimer announced the news on Twitter while also revealing the sequel is set to hit theaters on July 12, 2019.

Kosinski was reportedly the number one directorial choice for Paramount and Skydance Pictures. The filmmaker previously worked with Tom Cruise on the 2013 sci-fi film Oblivion, and Cruise has apparently wanted to make another film with Kosinski ever since.

Earlier last month, Cruise discussed the tone of Top Gun: Maverick, saying the sequel is "going to be a competition film like the first one, and it's going to be in the same vein and the same tone as the first," while also being "a progression for Maverick."

Scott Cawthon, developer of the Five Nights at Freddy's series, has revealed he has ceased work on his new project, a sixth installment in the horror franchise.

There have been five entries in the main franchise, with Sister Location releasing last year as the most recent. There is also an RPG spin-off, FNaF World, which has been released for free after being pulled from Steam.

Hidden Alien Mission Found in Grand Theft Auto 5

Grand Theft Auto V's Chiliad Mystery has been ongoing for years and years, and the latest instalment in the saga has seen players uncover a crashed UFO and a new secret mission.

All this was added in the Gunrunning update recently, although it seemingly wasn't quite due for release yet. The Chiliad Mystery Guru group activated the mission early by messing with a few of the files found in the update.

The mission was forcefully activated, and as you can see in the video above, it involves picking up supplies with a supernatural twist. The supply location is a crashed UFO with a whole bunch of dead scientists and soldiers nearby - when you pick up a mysterious egg, aliens spawn in and start firing at you.
