The Simpsons DVD Releases Resuming With Season 18
The Simpsons will get another DVD release after all.
Twentieth Century Fox announced at Comic-Con that Season 18 of The Simpsons will come out December 5 on DVD. It's a surprising turnaround for the series, after showrunner Al Jean previously said in 2015 that no more Simpsons DVDs would be released because of a dying market.

Brainiac, Doomsday, Hawkwoman, Adam Strange to Appear on Krypton TV Series
Today at the Comic-Con panel for Krypton — coming to Syfy in 2018 — DC TV head Geoff Johns revealed that, although Krypton is a prequel series, DC heroes Adam Strange and Hawkwoman, and DC villains Brainiac and Doomsday, will be a part of the show.
So how will that work? Well, Johns explained that while Krypton takes place in the past and centers around Superman’s grandfather, Seyg-El (Cameron Cuffe), “it’s about a conspiracy from the present that’s traveled back in time to Krypton to prevent the birth of Superman.” That’s where we get Adam Strange and Hawkwoman battling to stop the evil plan and save the present.
Johns then went on to drop the name Doomsday as another character who will arrive on the show, along with Brainiac. Executive producer Cameron Welsh added “What we love about Brainiac is that not only is he an incredible foil for anyone he faces, but also he has a really deep history dating back to his family on Colu. He is the nexus point between man and machine, which is a very relevant thing to be talking about now. He’s a very real character.”
Justice League Cast Teases Superman’s Return
During the Warner Bros. panel today at San Diego Comic-Con, several stars of the DCEU subtly and not-so-subtly referenced the return of the Man of Steel.
In an exchange during the Q&A portion of the panel, a young boy asked the panel, “Where is Superman gonna be in this movie?" Wonder Woman actress Gal Gadot replied, “You’re a very smart boy."
Jason Momoa, star of the upcoming Aquaman film, chose a... different approach to the boy's question. "Son, I’m not sure if your parents showed you the last movie but Superman’s dead," Momoa said. "That’s your parents’ fault."
Momoa went on to defend his blunt reply to the room, "Hey guys that’s just the facts. My kids are here too. They know he’s not around.”
Arrested Development Season 5 to Have Murder Mystery
The fifth season of Arrested Development will involve a murder mystery, according to series star Jason Bateman.
Warning: Arrested Development Season 4 spoilers below.
Speaking to EW Radio, Bateman said the mystery behind the death of Lucille Austero (Liza Minnelli) in Season 4 will serve as "sort of a central thread" in the show's next season. "The central spine of that story of is the death of Liza Minnelli’s character, and a bit of whodunit, who may have done it, who had something to do with it," he explained.
The actor also discussed the show's overall structure, revealing that series' creator Mitchell Hurwitz has a "three-act story" planned for Arrested Development after it's first three seasons. "The first act was done on the first batch of Netflix episodes, and we’re about to do now the second act of that story, and then the act third act presumably will be done if we can all get it together at a later date, maybe in another few years," Bateman said.

Momoa, who had just flown in from Australia from filming Aquaman, introduced a brief video and recorded message from the film's director, James Wan.
The sizzle reel began with largely the same footage as the animated, conceptual imagery screened at this year’s CinemaCon. The real clip began with two fishermen out at sea. A foreign-language version of the classic tune “Beyond the Sea” plays over this footage.

Huge DC Rebirth Mystery to Be Revealed in Action Comics
DC Comics held their "Justice For All" panel at SDCC this morning. The panel focused on a wide range of DC Rebirth comics, and while no new projects were announced, the panel did hint at some big developments to come as the Rebirth train keeps rolling.
The biggest revelation in the panel came from Action Comics writer Dan Jurgens, who confirmed that the identity of the enigmatic Mr. Oz will be revealed in September's Action Comics #987, the first chapter of "The Oz Effect." Jurgens promised that this reveal will have a huge impact on the entire Superman family, and that the clues to piece together Oz's identity are already out there. First, however, readers should also look to next week's Action Comics #984 for another big twist.
