Jon Bernthal Takes a Vow of Silence for Pilgrimage
If there’s any actor that might be considered an “actor’s actor” who has gone to great lengths for his craft, then Jon Bernthal has worked his butt off to get where he is now.
It’s been five years since Bernthal was a regular on AMC’s The Walking Dead, but he then got an even more high-profile gig as The Punisher in the second season of Netflix’s Daredevil. Bernthal’s version of Marvel’s Frank Castle proved popular enough to get him his own series, which he shot earlier this year and is expected to debut later in 2017.
Between doing those shows, Bernthal still found plenty of time to make movies, and he even found time to chat with IGN about a variety of topics.
Brendan Muldowney’s Pilgrimage couldn’t be any more different from Bernthal’s normal role, if there is such a thing, because it takes place during 13th century Ireland as it follows a group of monks on a dangerous journey through the rugged Irish landscape to bring a sacred relic back to Rome. The diverse group of monks is played by Stanley Weber, John Lynch, Hugh O’Conor and none other than Tom Holland, and Bernthal is playing a character simply known as The Mute, a man unable to speak who comes from a violent past.
Aquaman Director on DC Film’s Watery, Complicated Shoot
Aquaman Director James Wan says the upcoming DC film's underwater setting has made for a "very technically complicated shoot."
Wan spoke about the difficulties of filming Aquaman with The Hollywood Reporter, saying both the water and dry-for-wet sequences are "very complex." He listed things like "CG with the hair, and how their clothing moves, how are they floating, what kind of rig we put them on," as some of the challenges.
Adding to the difficulty is Wan's desire to make minimal use of CGI, opting to shoot with actors as often as possible, which he says makes filming "very difficult and time-sucking and time-challenging." Despite the various challenges, Wan hopes his efforts will "pay off in spades" once the movie is completed.
Blizzard Adds Deathmatch to Overwatch
Overwatch Arcade will soon feature Deathmatch, Blizzard has announced.
Deathmatch, which is now available on the PTR, brings with it a new map and two new modes, including "Free-For-All," which features 1v7 matches where players compete with the goal of being the first to get 20 kills. The other is "Team Deathmatch," which pits two teams of six against each other, with goal of being the first team to rack up 30 kills. In this mode, Mercy resurrections will subtract kills from the other team's kill count.
While several of Overwatch's existing maps have been modified for Deathmatch, Blizzard is also adding a new map called Château Guillard that is designed specifically for two aforementioned new modes. Additionally, Deathmatch features a new scoreboard to keep track of your kills.

A deleted scene in the 2014 X-Men film Days of Future Past helps corroborate Berry's comments, as it showed Logan (Hugh Jackman) give Storm quite the farewell kiss before traveling back to the 1970s.

Xbox Insider Program Now Available Free to All Xbox Users
The Xbox Insider Program is a community that lets Xbox users help Microsoft test and evaluate upcoming system updates before they are released to the public. Previously, the program was limited to a selected group of players, but Microsoft has announced anyone will be able to opt in to the lowest-tier of the Insider Program.
Currently the Xbox Insider Program is split into four rings: Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Omega. Omega is outermost ring a user can opt into, earning early access to upcoming system updates. Participation in the Omega group can eventually lead to the more exclusive Alpha, Beta, and Delta rings, assuming your input is helpful to Microsoft.
In addition to early updates, Microsoft is partnering with game developers to get beta access to certain games for Insider Program users as well. According to the press release, Insiders on both Xbox One and PC have already been given access to Sea of Thieves, and earlier this year some users were able to play Paladins weeks before release.
Rick and Morty’s 11 Most Emotionally Devastating Moments
Rick and Morty didn't get to be one of the best sci-fi shows on the air simply by throwing the titular duo into one wacky adventure after another. This is a series full of complex, flawed characters trapped in a nihilistic universe where anything can (and usually does) happen. Many of the most memorable Rick and Morty moments are those where the crazy sci-fi antics take a back-seat to real, disturbing character drama.
With the series finally returning to Adult Swim this weekend, we thought it would be a good time to look back at the most disturbing and emotionally devastating moments the series has delivered so far. Beware of spoilers for episodes up to and including the Season 3 premiere, "The Rickshank Redemption."

NBA Live 18 Demo Out Tomorrow
A demo for NBA Live 18 will launch tomorrow ahead of its PlayStation 4 and Xbox One launch on September 15.
Players will get to try out The Rise, the prologue to the game's new single-player career mode The One. You'll create your own basketball player and improve his position in the NBA draft by going through a few developmental showcases.
All progress made in The Rise will carry over to the full game. The same goes for the demo's specially-timed Live Events, which are activities that, when competed, unlock different rewards. The free demo will also feature a Play Now experience between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
Additionally, EA announced that Houston Rockets superstar James Harden will be NBA Live 18's cover athlete. "NBA Live 18 is all about creating your own identity and making your mark on the league, and I can definitely relate to that," said Harden. "If anybody knows about creativity it's me."
