Judge Dredd TV Show: Exclusive First Concept Art Images

IGN can exclusively reveal the first concept development sketches of the Judge Dredd: Mega-City One TV show.

The first, 'Democracy March', shows the suspended streets packed with people amidst the Mega-City skyline (including the Statue of Liberty). The title may well be a reference to the events of "America", one of the Judge Dredd comic series' most well-loved storylines, which tackled some incredibly heavy themes, and saw a major change in Dredd's depiction.

Starbreeze’s Raid: World War II Coming Next Month

Starbreeze and developer Lion Game Lion have confirmed four-player co-op shooter Raid: World War II will be available on PC from September 26. It will be released in-store and online for Xbox One and PS4 in October (Tuesday, October 10 for North America and Friday, October 13 for European territories, Middle East, and Asia).

Raid: World War II is a co-op first person shooter that will see players battle and rob their way through occupied Europe. It sounds a lot like a period version of Payday, but the game’s pedigree makes this no surprise. Lion Game Lion, based in Zagreb, Croatia, has been building DLC for Starbreeze and Overkill Software’s extremely successful Payday 2 for some time. Also, Raid: World War II game director Ilija Petrusic was the co-founder of Overkill Software and lead level designer for Payday: The Heist and Payday 2.

Pokemon series developer Game Freak has opened up on the changes to Pokemon over the years, as well as the processes involved in choosing viable Pokemon designs.

During an interview with Game Informer, Pokemon director and producer Junichi Musada explained that people from all aspects of development can have a hand in new Pokemon designs.

“The graphic designers are obviously going to be the ones finalizing the look, but it’s not just the graphic designers who come up with ideas or draw the Pokémon,”.

Masuda went on to clarify that ideas for new Pokemon can come from development teams wanting to utilize new battle moves, writers wanting to work something into the story, or a different source of real world inspiration for the design.

Defenders Villains The Hand Explained

If you've been watching Netflix's Marvel series over the past few years, you know that the Hand has become one of the great, overarching threats in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And that threat level is growing as Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist join forces to battle this band of zombie ninja assassins in The Defenders.

So let's look at everything you need to know about the Hand's comic book origins and how they fit into the massive tapestry that is the Marvel Universe.

The Marvel Universe is basically crawling with sinister organizations bent on gathering power, but few have wrought as much death and devastation as the Hand. This ancient, shadowy organization of ninja assassins has been working behind the scenes for centuries, growing its numbers and working its way through the Japanese underworld. Each member of the Hand is a formidable enemy in their own right, but the organization's ability to resurrect the dead and continuously replenish its ranks makes them a persistent threat to the superhero community.
