Metroid: Samus Returns: More 2D Metroid Games Possible
The original Metroid co-creator and now Metroid: Samus Returns producer, Yoshio Sakamoto has talked about his interest in creating more 2D titles for the series.
In the most recent issue of Game Informer, Sakamoto talks about developing the original Metroid and how he "... wasn't sure if players would enjoy the game" despite believing that it could be a "special franchise".
He explains that, "through the development of Metroid 1, I really grasped the possibilities and potential of a video game".
Sakamoto repeats this sentiment when talking about the upcoming 3DS title Metroid: Samus Returns, and explains that he would like to make more 2D Metroid titles - but fan interest will play a key role:

Game of Thrones' latest episode brought back a fan-favorite, familiar character for a very brief, significant purpose. Coldhands, aka Benjen Stark, reappeared in "Beyond the Wall" to reunite with and safe the life of his favorite nephew, Jon Snow.
By the time Jon Snow registered that Benjen was 1. still alive, 2. relatively undead and 3. there to save him, the half-frozen King of the North was already on Coldhands' steed and being sent back to Eastwatch-by-the-Sea. It's a brief and surprising cameo appearance, but one that showrunner David Benioff thinks closes out Benjen's story in a satisfying way.

Daenerys Targaryen was dealt a brutal blow in "Beyond the Wall" when her dragon Viserion was killed by the Night King and then reanimated with his cold magic. But does that make him an ice dragon? Not according to George R.R. Martin.
Stories of ice dragons have appeared in the majority of the A Song of Ice and Fire book series, and most notably were discussed in the canon World of Ice and Fire Game of Thrones compendium. In those works, ice dragons are described as being a different type of species than a fire-breathing dragon, and not necessarily an undead version like seen here.

Jon Snow has his wight, Daenerys Targaryen is firmly anti-Night King, and almost everyone on Game of Thrones is heading south to King's Landing. Almost everyone, it seems, including Sandor Clegane. (Not Sansa, though. She's still at Winterfell.)
The promo for the Season 7 finale of Game of Thrones is setting up Daenerys Targaryen bringing all of her forces to King's Landing, plus the Magnificent Six Five who came back from their ranging mission north of the Wall. Grey Worm, the Dothraki and the rest of the Team Dany crew line up outside of King's Landing, and Jon Snow and crew arrive to try to court Cersei to not fight the wars inside Westeros. But we all know Cersei isn't so quick to accept logic.

Game of Thrones delivered one heck of an ending when not only did one of Daenerys Targaryen's three dragons get killed, but then the Night King resurrected it with his abilities. But which one of Dany's children bit the dust? If you watched with closed captions, the series confirmed that it's Viserion that went down. We just don't think he's technically an ice dragon.
When Daenerys's three dragons were born, they all had discernible colors. Drogon, the biggest and the one she always rides, is black with a reddish tint. Rhaegal, named for Dany's brother Rhaegar (who got a notable name drop in last week's episode) is green, while Viserion, named for her brother Viserys, is gold. As the dragons have gotten older, their colors have gotten less distinct as their coats have taken off a darker hue. Below, you'll see Rhaegal to the left, and Viserion to the right.

Pokken Tournament DX Demo Coming Soon
A demo for Pokken Tournament DX will be released ahead of the game's September launch.
The news was announced on the official Pokemon Twitter account, which confirms the demo is "coming soon" to the Nintendo Switch eShop. However, a specific release date wasn't provided.
There's no word on what will be featured in the demo, though there's a chance it might include some of the game's new fighters. The demo for the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament only consisted of a regular one-match versus battle.
Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition Revealed
Not forgetting the console's past, Microsoft is offering an Xbox One X Project Scorpio special edition, available to preorder now.
Revealed during the company's Gamescom press conference, the Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition can be preordered from the Microsoft Store while supplies last. Microsoft said the decision to invoke the Scorpio name was to "celebrate both our heritage and the power and precision that we are bringing into our future."

Sea of Thieves Xbox One, PC Crossplay Confirmed
Sea of Thieves will feature crossplay support for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, Rare announced today during Microsoft's Xbox briefing at Gamescom.
"No asterisk, no small print. It is literally, in our shared world, you are with people from multiple devices," PC design lead Ted Timmins said during the briefing. According to executive producer Joe Neate, the crossplay experience is "seamless."
