Finn Jones Comes to Iron Fist’s Rescue

With Marvel’s The Defenders debuting on Netflix tomorrow, we hopped on the phone with Finn Jones, the actor who plays Danny Rand aka Iron Fist. He gave us some insight on his character heading into the team-up show and also addressed a few sticking points about Danny Rand.

Defenders is set about three months after the events of Iron Fist, and we first meet Danny in Cambodia where he’s tracking down a member of the Hand. As you’ll remember from the end of Iron Fist Season 1 (spoilers!), when Danny returned home to K’un L’un, the city had disappeared and some of his fellow monks were dead in the snow, the result of an assumed Hand attack.

“At the end of Iron Fist, Danny feels very guilty that he left his responsibilities, he ****ed up basically,” Jones said. “He realized how he allowed his own emotions and his own inner recklessness to get in the way of his responsibility and the result was the loss of his home and somewhere where he grew up for 15 years. He's being driven by guilt to take down the Hand, so we're seeing a much more purposeful and driven Danny at the beginning of Defenders.”

World of Tanks’ War Stories: 9 Things You Need to Know

World of Tanks may have started on PC, but over the last three and a half years it has also gone from strength to strength on console – to the tune of 12 million downloads, starting out on Xbox 360, but now available on Xbox One (with 360 cross-play), PS4 and PS4 Pro, with Xbox One X to come. This World of Tanks ecosystem was built from the ground up for console, and indeed, while the PC game is developed out of Belarus, World of Tanks on console has been overseen from the very beginning by Wargaming Chicago-Baltimore (formerly Day 1 Studios).

The differences between PC and console are now very significant. In addition to the things you’d expect, like UI and game balance differences, World of Tanks on console also boasts plenty of exclusive content, including maps, vehicles and tech implementations like climate changes. The Chicago-Baltimore team also maintains a “very aggressive” update cadence, with a monthly update cycle to roll in new content and changes.

Mystik U Comic Sends Zatanna to DC’s Hogwarts

DC Comics has revealed Mystik U, a new limited series that should appeal to fans of franchises like Harry Potter or The Magicians. This new book will put Zatanna back in the spotlight as it explores her college years at a magical school cut from the same cloth as Hogwarts and Brakebills.

Mystik U will focus on the young Zatanna and four other magician peers - Felix Faust's son, Sebastian, The Enchantress, magical prodigy Sargon the Sorcerer and new character Pia Morales. The series will follow their growth in the magical arts while also exploring the mystery of which of these five spellcasters will fall to darkness and betray the others.

Mystik U is written by Alisa Kwitney (Destiny) and drawn by Mike Norton (Revival). The series will be published in a format similar to last year's Deadman: Dark Mansion of Forbidden Love, with three prestige format issues being released bimonthly beginning in November.

Best PC Controller 2019: The Best Game Pads for PC Gaming

Even though PC gamers (correctly) worship at the altar of the gaming mouse and gaming keyboard, for certain driving, flying, and 3rd-person games, some experiences are better played with a controller. And of course, controllers are also almost always better for Comfy Couch Gaming when your gaming PC is plugged into your gaming TV.

What's more, unlike on consoles, PC controllers don't have to conform to a particular style or design, so choosing the right controller depends on what you're using it for. Some are loaded with customizable buttons, while others stick to a simpler design, and like any PC accessory, there are a lot of options to choose from. If you’re on the lookout for a new PC gaming controller, here are five solid choices to get you started.
