SummerSlam time, folks.
Jinder Mahal defends the WWE Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura, RAW Woman's champ Alexa Bliss will try to fend off Sasha Banks, "Demon" Finn Balor will face Bray Wyatt, and let's not forget the Fatal Fourway for the RAW Universal Championship featuring Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe, and Braun Strowman.
This is a packed card, with a two-hour kickoff event and then a four-hour (plus) main show. So prepare to get sedentary! Pokken Tournament DX Demo Coming Soon
A demo for Pokken Tournament DX will be released ahead of the game's September launch.
The news was announced on the official Pokemon Twitter account, which confirms the demo is "coming soon" to the Nintendo Switch eShop. However, a specific release date wasn't provided.
There's no word on what will be featured in the demo, though there's a chance it might include some of the game's new fighters. The demo for the Wii U version of Pokken Tournament only consisted of a regular one-match versus battle.
Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition Revealed
Not forgetting the console's past, Microsoft is offering an Xbox One X Project Scorpio special edition, available to preorder now.
Revealed during the company's Gamescom press conference, the Xbox One X Project Scorpio edition can be preordered from the Microsoft Store while supplies last. Microsoft said the decision to invoke the Scorpio name was to "celebrate both our heritage and the power and precision that we are bringing into our future."

Sea of Thieves Xbox One, PC Crossplay Confirmed
Sea of Thieves will feature crossplay support for Xbox One and Windows 10 PC, Rare announced today during Microsoft's Xbox briefing at Gamescom.
"No asterisk, no small print. It is literally, in our shared world, you are with people from multiple devices," PC design lead Ted Timmins said during the briefing. According to executive producer Joe Neate, the crossplay experience is "seamless."

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds Passes 8 Million in Sales
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds has now sold over 8 million copies, game director Brendan Greene confirmed during Microsoft's Xbox briefing at Gamescom.
While he remained tight-lipped on when the game will launch for Xbox One, Greene also announced that Microsoft is publishing PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds on Xbox One, and that the game is coming to the Xbox Game Preview program.
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds was announced for Xbox One at E3 2017, and is slated to launch on the console sometime later this year.
Just three months after its Early Access release, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds passed the 4 million mark. An update for the game launched just a few weeks ago, adding Xbox controller support and FPS-only servers.
Jurassic World Evolution Announced
Microsoft revealed Jurassic World Evolution today during its Gamescom 2017 briefing.
Coming in summer 2018 to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, this park-building sim is being created by Frontier Developments, who has worked on the RollerCoaster Tycoon series as well as Elite: Dangerous.
The reveal trailer points to gameplay that involves building a park, breeding some dinos, and probably dealing with some problems when said dinos get out of their pens.
“As long-time fans of the entire Jurassic series we’re thrilled to be putting players in charge of their own Jurassic World,” said Frontier’s Chief Creative Officer, Jonny Watts. “We’re excited to bring over fifteen years of management, simulation, and creature development expertise to a destination and franchise that remains an inspiration to us.”

On the latest episode of our weekly show, Nintendo Voice Chat, we talked about what improvements we’d like to see made to one of our favorite Nintendo Switch titles: Splatoon 2. Nintendo has already started to tweak and further balance the game with post-release updates and, like the original game for Wii U, it will be supported with free new maps and weapon additions over many months of its lifecycle. But we’re hoping Nintendo also delves a little deeper and fixes and upgrades some core features.
The Hitman’s Bodyguard Is No. 1 at Weekend Box Office
Despite garnering an overwhelmingly negative reception from critics, The Hitman's Bodyguard exceeded expectations, placing first in its domestic debut at the box office this weekend.
The Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson-led action-comedy from director Patrick Hughes earned an estimated $21.6 million in its opening weekend, already making back a significant portion of its production budget of approximately $30 million.
This weekend also brought with it the release of Logan Lucky, which underwhelmed with a third place debut. While it was well received by critics, the Steven Soderbergh-directed heist comedy, starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver, Daniel Craig and Riley Keogh, earned an estimated $8.1 million in its domestic debut. When adjusting for inflation, this puts Logan Lucky below Solaris' $6.7 million debut in 2002, making it the lowest wide release opening of Soderbergh's career. The film reportedly cost $20 million to market, on top of a production budget of $29 million.
