SummerSlam Highlights: Beasts, Bosses, and Beach Balls

WWE SummerSlam '17 is in the history books, folks.

Many titles changed hands, many memorable moments were created, and many Brocks got put through many tables as "The Biggest Party of the Summer" served up six hours of action.

Battlefield 1: In the Name of the Tsar Expansion Detailed

Ahead of its release next month EA has revealed the full details about Battlefield 1's upcoming expansion, In the Name of the Tsar.

As detailed on PlayStation Blog, the expansion will feature six new maps, a new mode, new weapons, and two new classes.

One of the new maps, Lupkow Pass, is now playable for season pass owners. Verticality is vital in this snow-capped hillside that sees the Austro-Hungarian forces and the Russian Imperial Army battle each other.

Samurai Jack: Complete Series Blu-ray Set Announced

Now that the Emmy-winning Adult Swim animated series' five-season run is over, Samurai Jack: The Complete Series will be released on Blu-ray, and Digital HD October 17, 2017. The set features all 62 episodes of the show along with bonus content, exclusive featurettes, behind the scenes extras, and special commentary.

Watch an exclusive extra from the release below, featuring series creator Genndy Tartakovsky discussing the evolution of the beloved show over its five seasons.

Each episode of the first four seasons has been remastered in HD for the first time. The box set also features a one-of-a-kind metal art print, created especially for hardcore fans.

Fe Release Window, Switch Version Announced

Fe, the upcoming platformer from Swedish developer Zoink Games, will be released in early 2018, Electronic Arts announced today at Gamescom.

In addition to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC, the publisher confirmed the EA Originals title will also launch for Nintendo Switch. Check out the trailer EA released alongside today's announcement below:

In Fe, which was announced last year at E3, players take on the role of a cub who awakes to find itself in a forest. They must use sound to communicate as they explore the world and attempt to rescue its wildlife from the Silent Ones, a machine foe that threatens the forest.

DC Reveals Epic Doomsday Clock Art

Doomsday Clock writer Geoff Johns has offered a new glimpse of the upcoming mini-series, which pits Superman against Watchmen's Doctor Manhattan with the fate of the DC Universe hanging in the balance.

This morning Johns tweeted several covers for Doomsday Clock #1. First up is the main cover by Gary Frank:

Interestingly, that appears to be Rorschach hanging out with the rest of the protesters at the top right. Is this a sign that Rorschach has also made the jump from the world of Watchmen to the DCU?

Horizon Zero Dawn Easy Story Mode Out Now

Horizon Zero Dawnls latest patch, among other fixes, introduces a new easier difficultly called Story Mode.

Horizon Zero Dawn's Story Mode, according to a post on the PlayStation Blog, allows players to avoid worrying about combat by boosting player damage and reducing the amount of damage the player takes from enemies. The patch is intended to allow those who want to explore Aloy's world and experience her adventure to do so undeterred by any difficult battles.

Patch 1.32 also makes a slew of bug and progression fixes that can be found in more detail in the full patch notes.

Dragon Quest XI Import: A Truly Living, Breathing (and Stunning) World

A wide variety of vast lands are waiting for you to explore in Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. Gallop on your horse, set sail, or even mount some of Dragon Quest’s iconic monsters. Towns and villages are crowded with quirky characters to talk to, and dungeons and caves are packed with hidden items and treasure chests. There is just so much to do in Rotozetashia. But make no mistake. This is by no means an open world game. The vision behind Rotozetashia is true to the world making of traditional Japanese RPGs, but it expands on that in creative ways.

Open world games give the player as much freedom as possible, but that doesn’t necessarily work as well for a heavily story driven game like Dragon Quest XI. While there are almost always decisions to make, in the end Dragon Quest XI is a linear experience, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. As a matter of fact, it is the linearity that makes the sublime level design in this game possible.

The Flash: Katee Sackhoff Cast as DC Villain

The Arrowverse just got a little bit more dangerous, with the announcement that Katee Sackhoff is joining the cast of The Flash in a recurring capacity as DC villain Blacksmith.

As EW reports, she will make her debut in the fifth episode of The Flash's upcoming fourth season, titled "Girls Night Out," which will also feature a guest appearance from Arrow's Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).

Katee Sackhoff in Battlestar Galactica

The comic book version of Blacksmith, whose real name is Amunet Black, is one of the Flash's Rogues from the pre-Flashpoint days, and has the power to fuse organic and inorganic material — most commonly using this power to bond metal to flesh.
