X-Men: Every Upcoming Movie/TV Show
With production on New Mutants wrapping and big news breaking about Drew Goddard being hired to direct X-Force, we thought it was time to revisit the X-Men Cinematic Universe and look ahead at all the TV shows and movies currently planned to premiere.
Though X-Men: Apocalypse wasn't well-received, the X-verse still held strong in 2017 with the stellar final chapter in Hugh Jackman's Wolverine saga, Logan, and FX's "son of Xavier" series Legion. Legion, as bonkers and brilliant as it was during its first season, wasn't connected to the greater X-Men universe though. The Gifted - debuting October 2nd on FOX - is tethered to the larger XMU and will introduce mutants such as Blink, Polaris, and Thunderbird to viewers.
Dynasty Warriors 9 Release Window Announced
Dynasty Warriors 9 will be launching in early 2018.
Koei Tecmo Europe has revealed the launch window for the upcoming Dynasty Warriors 9 as part of Tokyo Game Show 2017.
The game will be coming in early 2018 and, as revealed last month, will launch on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Further to the announcement a trailer was released, detailing some of the new features available in the game.
As well as giving a glimpse of the game's Three Kingdoms narrative and a number of new environments, a brand new feature called the State Combo system is introduced.
Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain Announced
Earth Defense Force: Iron Rain has been announced for PlayStation 4.
The game was revealed during Sony's pre-Tokyo Game Show briefing - it's being developed by Yuke's and published by D3.
A reveal trailer has also dropped, showcasing some of the series' staple bug-fighting action - but it also looks to add a more grounded tone than other light-hearted entries in the series.
Publisher D3 is calling Iron Rain "new territory" for the franchise as it looks to move away from its "traditional" style. This can be seen in the trailer, as our narrator delivers despondent lines including "war is all we know", a far cry from the playful premise of a giant bug invasion.
The other major difference? It looks a lot nicer than the mainline EDF games - even the upcoming Earth Defense Force 5, which was shown off in the same conference
Cult of Chucky Will Be Available to Stream on Netflix in October

On-Demand Game Service Jump Offers Free Trial
Jump Gaming's new on-demand indie gaming service Jump is available now and features a free, 14-day trial for gamers interested in checking the service out.
Currently offering 60 games, Jump's library "will continue to grow," and can be accessed either through a native Windows and Mac app. Linux users can access the service through their browser.
Jump Gaming founder and CEO Anthony Palma said he started the service after seeing the difficulties independent studios were having with distributing their creations.
Palma said he first realized web technology could help solve the distribution problem "when WebGL exports started popping up in game engines in 2015."
"We saw the potential that web technologies held for the future," he said.

All the News From Sony’s TGS PlayStation Conference
Sony has just concluded its Tokyo Game Show 2017 PlayStation press conference. From new game reveals and VR experiences to the release date for Monster Hunter World, there was no shortage of exciting news for PlayStation fans.
In case you missed the briefing, IGN has you covered with a full rundown of all the big announcements from the event.
Perhaps the biggest news of the entire event was the reveal of a new game from Square Enix called Left Alive.
The title, which Square Enix describes as a "brand-new survival action shooter" set in a "dark and gritty world," is being directed by Armored Core director Toshifumi Nabeshima and features character designs by Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa. Mech designer Takayuki Yanase, who worked on Metal Gear and Xenoblade Chronicles X, is also involved in the project.
Adorable Cartoon Cat Collecting Sim Coming to PSVR in 2018
During Sony’s conference at Tokyo Game Show today, cat collecting sim Neko Atsume was confirmed as a VR experience coming to PlayStation VR in 2018.
Not many details were announced, but a logo was shown during the conference and PlayStation confirmed on Twitter that developer Hit Point is involved.
Neko Atsume came to iOS and Android in 2014 and launched in English in 2015. The game allows you to leave food for cats who will come to your home and leave you presents. It features cartoon-style art and various special cats themed after baseball players, police officers, butlers, ninjas, and many more.
Monster Hunter World Release Date Revealed
Monster Hunter World will be released worldwide on January 26, 2018 for Xbox One and PS4 (with a PC release to follow at a later date). Capcom has announced a series of special editions, pre-order bonuses and a PS4 Pro special edition.
Announced at Sony's Tokyo Game Show conference, the game will see a number of versions upon release.
The digital deluxe edition will come with a bonus Samurai armour set, three gestures, hairstyle, facepaint, and and two in-game sticker sets, most of which you can see below:
Square Enix Reveals Left Alive from Former Metal Gear, Armored Core Devs
During Sony’s Tokyo Game Show conference today, Square Enix teased a new game called Left Alive coming to PS4 and Steam in 2018.
Square Enix describes the game as a "brand-new survival action shooter" set in a "dark and gritty world."
Former Metal Gear character designer Yoji Shinkawa (currently also working on Kojima's Death Stranding) will handle character design for Left Alive, and the game is directed by former Armored Core director Toshifumi Nabeshima.
Former Metal Gear and Xenoblade Chronicles X mech designer Takayuki Yanase is also working on the game, which is produced by Final Fantasy producer Shinji Hasimoto.
Few other details were revealed, but Square Enix hinted at more information coming this week during the Tokyo Game Show.
