Where Battlefront II Fits into the Star Wars Timeline
Star Wars Battlefront II arrives on November 17 and alongside the massive multiplayer mode it features a full-length single-player campaign.
This story slots into the wider Star Wars universe, meaning it can and will refer to events that have taken place in other Star Wars stories. It also means any future books, comics, animated series or even films can link back to it as a factual source of Star Wars lore, which is pretty cool.
With this in mind, let’s take a look at how and where Battlefront II’s campaign fits into the Star Wars timeline.
The story of Battlefront II follows Iden Versio, a soldier born and raised as part of the Galactic Empire. Yes, the same Galactic Empire the Rebel Alliance is fighting against in the films Episode IV: A New Hope through to Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.

Black Panther Star on the Political Statement T’Challa’s Accent Makes
The king and protector of Wakanda doesn't speak with a European accent, and star Chadwick Boseman says the choice is very much deliberate.
Speaking to CNET, Boseman said his accent is based around the fact that in the Marvel universe, Wakanda has never been conquered.
"There's no way he would speak with a European accent" without the influence of colonialism, he said.
Boseman said in the colonialist system, "in order to be a ruler, his education comes from Europe." Since Wakanda is the most technologically advanced nation on Earth "without colonialism tainting it," Boseman eschewed any accent that might betray that.

Aquaman Artist Shares Unused Movie-Inspired Design
It's not unusual for comic books to have synergy with the movies when it comes to how the character looks, and it turns out that the look of Jason Mamoa's Aquaman almost made it to the ongoing Aquaman comic book series. Aquaman artist Brad Walker shared his unused designs on Twitter, showing Arthur Curry with the same big beard, shaggy hair, and shoulder-armor chest strap that Mamoa sports in the Justice League movie.
"Don't think I ever posted these. Early round of #aquaman designs when we thought we would need to lean into the movie look. Ended up going more classic though, which I probably like better, anyway," Walker said in his tweet.
Uber Wants to Bring On-Demand Flying Taxis to LA
When people think of future promises unfulfilled, they often lament the lack of the flying car. Ride-sharing service Uber wants to change that in a way no one could have predicted 50 years ago.
Instead of a vast highway system of flying cars like we were promised in Back to the Future 2, UberAir instead wants to bring on-demand electric flying taxis to Los Angeles and Dallas-Fort Worth by 2020.
