Why You Should Be Excited for Sword of Ages
This week is shaping up to be a pretty great one for comic book readers, especially with the debut of Sword of Ages. This new space fantasy comic is the creation of Gabriel Rodriguez, whom many will know as the artist/co-creator of Locke & Key. We're thrilled to see Rodriguez tackling such an ambitious new project, especially one that's been in the works for so long.
Not only do we have exclusive preview art of Sword of Ages #1 to show off, we also have detailed commentary from Rodriguez as he discusses his inspirations and the process of building and establishing this new fantasy universe. Check out the slideshow below to hear more from Rodriguez himself about what to expect from this book.
Call of Duty: WW2 Datamine Reveals New Weapons and Modes
A dataminerfound unreleased game modes and weapons in Call of Duty: WWII.
Modes such as Gun Game, Infected, and Control were discovered, as well as a number of weapons, automatic and otherwise.
Self-styled dataminer and modder MrJaRnii even published a YouTube video of their findings, according to Eurogamer. The video has already been taken down, but it revealed a number of different game modes and weapons.
This isn't the first time game content has been revealed by dataminers, but it is unclear whether these modes and weapons will come to the game at a later date, or if these are simply pieces of the game left on the cutting room floor. We will let you know as more information becomes available.
Avatar Sequels: James Cameron Reveals Details On Kate Winslet’s Character
James Cameron revealed Oscar winner Kate Winslet will be part of the "Sea People" in underwater Avatar sequels.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, James Cameron offered a few choice details on what exactly Kate Winslet’s role will be in his upcoming Avatar Sequels.
"She’s very excited about it," said Cameron, who has not worked with Winslet since filming the iconic blockbuster, Titanic. He added Winslet insisted upon, "doing all her own water work," and she would play a member of the film’s much hinted at, "Sea People." Although he has not confirmed whether Winslet’s role will be as a human or Navi, he has previously revealed that the character will be called Ronal.
James Cameron on How Disney Buying Fox Might Affect Avatar Sequels
Legendary director James Cameron talks about how Disney buying his home studio Fox may affect the Avatar sequels.
During an interview with Vanity Fair, Cameron was asked what it would mean to him if the movie studio was sold after reports claim that Disney and Fox are in talks.
"Probably not that much," answered Cameron.
Camerons says he's "always had a good relationship with Fox," so any sale to Disney "wouldn’t be bad," he explains.
The Walking Dead/FTWD Crossover Character Confirmed
On AMC's Talking Dead, following The Walking Dead episode "The King, the Widow, and Rick,", it was revealed the integral crossover character between The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead will be Lennie James' Morgan.
The prevailing theory, ever since Fear the Walking Dead wrapped up its third season, was that it would be Abraham who moved between shows. Having shown up late on The Walking Dead, in Season 4, Abraham came from Texas - which is the location Fear is headed to in Season 4. And given that Fear is now taking place, time-wise, during Seasons 1 and 2 of The Walking Dead, a past version of Abraham could surely, and easily, slip into Fear's story.

What to Expect from Pandemic Legacy: Season 2
Pandemic is one of the most acclaimed board games of all time. Released in 2008, it casts players as a team of medics fighting deadly diseases around the globe, and its combination of cooperative gameplay and steadily mounting tension made massive hit with fans and critics.
Over the years it has spawned an ever-expanding line of spin-offs, with one recent entry standing out above the rest: 2015's Pandemic Legacy: Season 1. Legacy takes the original game’s blueprint and adds a story-driven campaign mode where your successes and failures permanently alter the game. Cities are lost, scrubbed from the game board. Cards are torn up. Co-created by design partners Matt Leacock and Rob Daviau, its twisting episodic plot sees characters suffer trauma and death. Many players have called it the greatest board game ever made.
