343 Hints That There Will Be No Halo 6 This Year
343 Industries has hinted that Halo 6 will not be arriving in 2018 - but there may be other releases that "surprise you".
On the 343 blog, a community manager wrote: "2018 has arrived and with it, the promise of new fun times to be had and adventures to be embarked upon. No, not those adventures
, but plenty of exciting ones regardless – some which might surprise you more than others."
Given the lead time between Halo game announcements and their release, this isn't necessarily surprising. For comparison, there was a more-than two year gap between Halo 5's first trailer and it coming out.

ABC on Futures of Agents of SHIELD, Once Upon a Time, and Inhumans
ABC's Channing Dungey thinks Agents of SHIELD and Once Upon a Time will return next season, but Inhumans' future isn't as hopeful.
According to Entertainment Weekly, during the Television Critics Association press tour, Dungey said she's "cautiously optimistic" about Agents of SHIELD and Once Upon a Time returning next season.
Inhumans, on the other hand, isn't looking good for a return.
"It didn’t perform for us at the level that we would’ve wanted," Dungey said.
ABC hasn't formally made any "official decision yet" on any shows getting picked up again in May, but Inhumans is averaging 4.1 million viewers, numbers Dungey said are "less exciting for us than we hoped they would be."

Chris Hemsworth on How Much the Infinity War Trailer Gives Away
The first trailer for Avengers: Infinity War amassed more than 230 million views in its first 24 hours online (and at least half of them came from us rewatching it in slow-mo to look for clues, if we're being honest), but while the footage is heavy on spectacle, it's noticeably light on plot details.
That's probably not surprising, especially looking back at the first trailer for Joe and Anthony Russo's Captain America: Civil War; blockbuster tentpoles increasingly rely on secrecy in their marketing to hype up audiences without risking spoilers, but you definitely get the sense that most of what we're seeing in the Infinity War trailer comes from the first two acts of the superhero team-up, before the battle against Thanos gets real.
Star Trek: Discovery – Explaining *That* Ship
Spoilers follow for certain aspects of this week’s episode of Star Trek: Discovery, “Despite Yourself.”
Sunday marked the return of Star Trek: Discovery after its brief mid-season hiatus, and, wow, did it hit the ground running. Episode 10, "Despite Yourself" (read our review here), shoved the USS Discovery into the Mirror Universe (the alternate reality Trek staple where everyone is evil), put Cadet Tilly in the captain's chair (which she is ill-prepared for to say the least), revealed that one major character may be a mind-wiped sleeper agent (I won't say who), and featured a shocking and unexpected
Ivy Doomkitty’s Dragon Cosplay
Welcome to Hero Makeover, our new video series where professional costume designers and makeup artists transform real-world heroes into their favorite characters.
Ivy "Doomkitty" Turner is our hero in Episode 2, because she shows us how cosplay can encourage a positive body image. Bullied as a child, Ivy grew up with a lot of self-doubt and very little self-confidence. However, once she discovered cosplay, she learned how to embrace her body and now encourages others to do the same. Check out her amazing transformation into Spyro the Dragon in the video player above.
Hulu Renews Marvel’s Runaways, Future Man
Hulu has renewed both Marvel's Runaways and Future Man for second seasons.
Runaway's sophomore season will contain 13 episodes, three more than its ten-episode first season. The renewal comes on the eve of its Season 1 finale, which premieres tomorrow, January 9, on Hulu. While you wait, check out IGN's review of last week's Runaways episode, "Doomsday."
Future Man also received a 13-episode order for its second season. The Josh Hutcherson-led series' first season was released on Hulu in November. IGN's Future Man: Season 1 review said, at times, it's "a really fun and compelling sci-fi caper that cleverly takes established time travel tropes and twists them into dark delicious trauma."
