Razer Reveals HyperFlux Wireless Charging Mousepad

Razer says it's creating the world's first wireless mouse that doesn't need a battery charged with the Mamba HyperFlux used in tandem with the Firefly HyperFlux mat.

The two products utilize Razer HyperFlux Wireless Power Technology. So the Firefly mat powers the Mamba mouse, meaning the device can stay lightweight.

Razer co-founder and CEO Min-Liang Tan believes this combo will greatly benefit video games. "Gamers are no longer held at the mercy of a battery or cable," he said in a statement. "Instead, there will be true wireless freedom with a cordless gaming mouse that’s the same weight as a wired mouse."

On top of that, both will feature Razer Chroma color options. And the Firefly mat will also offer dual-sided hard and cloth surfaces. Razer noted, as well, that a cable will be included with the Mamba mouse in case people use it without the mat.
