Diving Deep Into Three Kingdom Hearts 3 Rumors
Should Square Enix hold to the plans made last year, Kingdom Hearts III will finally release in 2018. And while that means we’re possibly less than 12 months away from the end of the Dark Seeker Saga, there’s still plenty we don’t know about the upcoming sequel.
The last few weeks have changed that…possibly. While Square has not officially announced much about KH3 since the 1-2 punch of last year's D23 and E3 trailers, a series of “leaks” and rumored details about the game have been floating around in this temporary KH news drought.
NIS Announces Disgaea Remake, New Titles
Two new titles were announced by NIS America parent company Nippon Ichi Software on January 18 through a Nintendo Direct-inspired livestream, where they also announced a remake of the original Disgaea and released more information regarding already announced titles such as The 25th Ward: The Silver Case.
The company holds an annual contest called the Nippon Ichi Project Festival, where employees in any department can submit ideas for a game, with the winning idea actually being developed and released. Up until now it has given birth to titles like htoL#NiQ and Yomawari: Midnight Shadows. This time around, the festival brings us Usotsukihime to Moumokuouji (which translates as The Lying Princess and the Blind Prince), which boasts a gorgeous hand-drawn art style inspired by picture books.
We Happy Few Delayed to Summer 2018
Compulsion Games has announced We Happy Few will be released a bit later than originally planned.
The title, which was previously slated to launch on April 13, will now be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime this summer. Compulsion Games also released a new developer video that offers a peek at the game's second playable character, Sally, and outlines what else is ahead for We Happy Few. Watch it below:
The eerie survival adventure, set in a drug-addled dystopian 1960s England, needs some additional time for polish, after Compulsion made substantial changes to improve the first two hours of Arthur's story. "We went back to the drawing board and made a couple of big decisions: we brought forward a number of story moments, to get into the action faster, and also rebuilt the whole first island for Arthur," producer Sam Abbott explained.

Also, after getting so much good feedback, we decided make the email section twice as long this week. There's some great questions and frankly, a mixed bag of responses...

To that end, these finals are the culmination of a year that saw the esports side of Hearthstone take a huge leap forward, with tournaments on the road to Amsterdam taking place all over the world, from the Bahamas to Shanghai. 2017 also introduced new Blizzard run series’ like the Hearthstone Global Games (HGG): a nation-based team competition unlike anything the game had seen before.

Pixar Brings in New Writer for Toy Story 4
Toy Story 4 has found its writer in Stephany Folsom.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Folsom has been hired to pen the film's script, after Rashida Jones and her writing partner Will McCormack departed the project over "philosophical differences" with Pixar last year.
Toy Story 4 will serve as Folsom's first major writing credit. Despite having worked on Thor: Ragnarok, she was denied "Story by" credit by the Writers Guild of America. In 2013, Folsom appeared on the Black List for an original screenplay she wrote called 1969 A Space Odyssey: Or How Kubrick Learned to Stop Worrying and Land on the Moon.
