Battlefield 1 Apocalypse DLC Coming Next Month

Battlefield 1's fourth expansion, Apocalypse, has been detailed, with new weapons, gadgets, maps, and modes coming to the game in February.

The official update laid out the content we can expect in the last of four planned expansions for the game. There are five mutliplayer maps, two of which have been "created exclusively for aerial combat," where you can make the most of the new Air Assault game mode.

All month long, IGN First is spotlighting the Films to Watch in 2018. Today, we take a look at A Quiet Place - a unique new supernatural suspense thriller written and directed by The Office's John Krasinski, starring Krasinksi and Emily Blunt as a couple who must raise their children in silence because the mysterious monsters who surround their farm are attracted to noise. This Paramount Pictures release lands in theaters April 6th.

Star Wars Comics: Marvel and Lucasfilm’s Duel of Philosophies

Darth Vader learning it was his son Luke Skywalker who destroyed the Death Star. The surprise introduction of Han Solo’s supposed wife. And Princess Leia finding the last remaining citizens of Alderaan. These are key moments in Star Wars lore, but they’re not in any of the movies. They’re all products of Marvel Comics’ line of Star Wars comics that kicked off in 2015 and have been making contributions to the canon ever since. But even though these Star Wars comics have been a hit with fans and are selling quite well, it required two media juggernauts, Marvel and Lucasfilm, to learn to work together even though they have a very different way of doing things.

SEGA Shoots Down Rumors of New Sonic Racing Game

Update: SEGA PR and social media manager Aaron Webber has come forward to shoot down the recent rumors that a new entry in its kart racing series is on the way.

"Hi guys – saw rumors floating today about another SART game. Just wanted to confirm it's not a thing," Webber said in a post on Twitter.

Slides from the presentation were posted on ResetEra  after the link to the original was removed. As well as the karting game, there are apparently two FPS titles also in the works.

PUBG Nerfs Vehicles in Xbox One Update

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds latest console update nerfs vehicles, implements a few tweaks, and fixes some bugs.

The patch notes for the Xbox One update indicate that Bluehole will increase the damage players can mete out on vehicles with both guns and grenades, while reducing damage to players who are unfortunate enough to get themselves run over.

Reckless driving will be curbed somewhat for players who value their lives, with drivers and passengers suffering "increased injuries" after crashing into other vehicles and objects.

Gran Turismo Creator Already Working on the Next GT Game

Gran Turismo series creator, Kazunori Yamauchi says he's already working on the next installment in the franchise.

Talking to Japanese website Game Watch (translated by Google), Yamauchi talked about updates to GT Sport and what the future of the series.

When asked about his plans for the next game, he replied, "I can not talk about anything yet, but since the moment releasing GT

, I have started making the next GT."

Yamauchi says he doesn't know if the next game in the series will be Gran Turismo 7, but did tease the possible inclusion of bikes.

Black Panther: First Reactions Twitter Roundup

Disney and Marvel Studios screened Black Panther for members of the media ahead of the movie's debut next month. The press were allowed to share their reactions on social media before official reviews go live, and they're overwhelming positive.

IGN's own Jim Vejvoda and Terri Schwartz spoke very highly of the film. Vejvoda highlighted the movie's action, world-building, and performances, saying Black Panther is "great fun" and a "sweet step forward for the MCU."

Our hero for Episode 5 is a transgender woman from St. Louis named Alexa. Through cosplay, Alexa has found confidence and been able to comfortably appear in public as a woman.
